This is pure bullish!t.

Some of y'all gotta stop enabling these marks behavior

Let's just call it what it is. A lot of these clowns will boo & cheer at some of the most illogical stuff.

The wwe just needs to keep it pushing & if they not wit then fukk em.

They gonna complain either way.:yeshrug:

A casual fan would never spend upwards of a thousand dollars to attend 3 or 4 WWE events in a row. Ever. You have to be the most hardcore of hardcore fans to pay a premium to attend this show. Vince know the crowd he's gonna get, book to manipulate them. If he can't do it at age 72, step down. You can't jack the price up and run the same building and accept the $ from hardcores, then cry that they're there.

I didn't read thru this entire thread, but WHY did Cokeboy run NXT, Raw, Smackdown, house shows, meet&greets, and a ppv in Barclays Bklyn over the weekend. :mindblown:

Real reason is bc Vince can't afford to do live shows at MSG anymore. Only a single random house house.

There's only so much wrasslin a venue neighbohood can take.
It's not because they can't afford it, but because they have no appreciation for history in the building and are just lazy. Keep in mind that from 2009-14 they kept summerslam in the same building every year too. They can't be bothered to try anymore and the Madison square garden crowd is notorious for how harsh it is. That and they probably still see the new building as a shiny new toy to play with.

and Vince shouldn't pay any attention to them, I'm glad :jinder: ruined their night. it's a reunion of the corniest "fans" on the planet.

The same guy who you'd see cheering for say Lio Rush at a local indy event in front of 100 people will now (once Lio gets called up) concern himself more with starting retarded chants or watching other idiots fukk around with beach balls etc..

They think Cena was giving them props last night but if you know Cena you'd know that he thinks these fat slobs are the worst and he's simply trolling them.

Blame Vince all you want for what's happened to wrestling over the past decade but it's these fans who are just as much to blame. They don't know what they want. They don't even pay attention to a Finn Balor anymore because he's over with women and children.

I don't blame Sasha at all, Jets hat, this guy was probably in the crowd last night :mjlol:

I agree that the fans need to chill but The WWE encourages the fans to act that way by glamorizing and calling attention to it, and by having boring shows where nothing really matters.

They did a WWE 24 special on the 'RAW after Wrestlemania' crowd and last night, Cena was encouraging the beach ball crap. Kevin Dunn also did a crowd shot of the beach ball being bounced around. After the show Cena even scolded Security for confiscating the balls.

The fans act that way where they are constantly chanting (2 sweeet! Holy shyt! You deserve it! etc) and amusing themselves because 1) they've grown accustomed to being bored and 2) WWE eggs them on. If you think those same fans are just cheering and clapping at indie shows while only shytchanting at WWE events you're wrong, that virus has long since spread to the bingo hall shows as well.

I wasn't even bothered by all the chanting and five-claps until I went to one bingo hall show where they were shytchanting WWE chants the entire time. a dude (with a WWE championship belt, no less) was chanting 'WHAT' while a non-native English speaker was on the mic. It was just embarrassing.

I don't even think all chants are bad and it's good that the crowd is having fun but IMO it's gone overboard. and I don't think it's fair to 100% blame the fans for it.

What I dont get from these clowns is why are they booing Cena and Reigns now? at first it was due to over exposure and his dynasty like dominance, but Cena has put over ALL of the indy guys that people like, he hasnt been in the title picture much and he even cuts good promos now. And how can you not want to see him face roman? thats a new match up and one of them has to play heel and one has to lose. On this issue the fans are spoiled babies that are just complaining cause they dont know what they want or like.

Raised this point on Niketalk and was told that they didn't ruin wrestling, Vince and his staff did. I disagree. These smarks are spoiled brats who'll go out of their way to sabotage a show if they don't get what they want. WWE appeasing them with Daniel Bryan's triumph at WrestleMania made them believe that with enough complaining they'll get what they want. Their the guys that brought over stupid chants like this is awesome, you still got it and you deserve it. I'm a fan and have been for two decades, but I'll never consider myself a smark.

Yea the entitled society we live in is magnified in wrestling audiences, like a few years ago it was necessary to chant random shyt during uninteresting matches but now that wwe has signed ALL of their favorite guys you would think they would cheer them just because. but no these spoiled babies want all of them to be main eventing champions all at the same time.. Its like unless the main event every week is Finn balor vs aj styles with daniel bryan as special gues referee while KO is comentating they arent happy..
:skip: Only when he has 3 other people doing most of the work.

It makes no sense for you to watch every week and not like brock, if i was vince i wouldnt cater to guys like you either. This dude is killing it everytime and he is even making guys like Joe and Braun look strong against him and you still complain he been on raw like 4 times in the last 5-6 weeks and you still complain. fukk out of here

Vince and creative are the same thing. He signs off. I think people forgot why they are even booing Roman. He was over as fukk with The Shield. Now, I would agree creative has made some mistakes. Some of his dialogue has been terrible. I've discussed that a lot on here.

but do u remember why he was booed in the first place? Because Bryan didn't win the Rumble. Which was ridiculous. Bryan had opportunities. They gave in to the crowd's demands. But at the same time he had injury problems too.

Roman was over before that and it was mostly organic.

Roman got booed initially because it was so obvious that he was going to be the next cena. It came out of nowhere, yes he was building a fanbase buut they made him skip the line and go straight to the top too fast. He never held any title before he got his big wwe title push and coming on the heels of daniel bryan having to go through the chase for years before he got his push it rubbed people the wrong way. Then you throw in the fact that at the time he had only 2 moves and was and still is very limited on the mic, it made people feel like Cena all over again and for the wrong reasons.. Atleast Cena had an organic rise to the top before they had him go super Cena

I wanted to make a thread like this, not so much from the overall crowd, but just the experience of being at such a smarky show and such a smarky crowd. It was corny as fukk overhearing the individual conversations, the way people tried to get certain chants over and how generally over the top obnoxious people are. The random, obscure references; one guy behind me kept talking in a fake JR voice and referencing random, obscure wrestlers that made me more annoyed that I understood the references because of how corny it all was.

Juxtapose that with mark ass fans literally screaming in rage about Kevin Owens being cheated and for as fun as certain things could be - the genuine joy for Adam Cole, the one more table chant, the silly throwing around the beachball shyt, there's some really extra corny ass shyt that made me embarrassed to be a part of the community.

I work with a guy thats a wrestling fan and I cant stand that nikka, he is super corny like I cant help to second guess myself for watching and being considered a fan just like this guy.. So yea wrestling has some of the corniest people on the planet as fans couple that in with the "I need attention society and you get the post mania and summer slam crowds..

Yes conveniently ignore that they keep shoving Roman down the fans throats :mjlol:
It's called being in the Main Event :mjlol:
Roman got booed initially because it was so obvious that he was going to be the next cena.
Nope. It was because of the Rumble. They even had Bryan get defeated by Roman in the #1 contender match and it still didn't work to quell the beards. They were already pissed off by the Rumble and Bryan's short reign (no pun) a year earlier.
Then you throw in the fact that at the time he had only 2 moves and was and still is very limited on the mic
This is a myth because as Leakee he disproved this. Try again.

The way I remember it, he had a good showing in the rumble that year and people started getting behind him, wwe did nothing with that until after the shield broke up, then it went from 0-100 and the more he became the obvious choice the more people started to turn on him, cause all of his matches were him doing that drop kick spamming the superman punch and that weak ass spear.. The thing is he got hurt and Bryan got hot again after coming back from the injury and then the rumble moment happened.. but He wasnt 100% over before he got injured and I know I never thought he was ready to be "the guy"

Nah, MSG significantly raised its broadcasting fees. UFC tix are a g for nosebleeds. WWE only does non TV house shows out of msg now. That's why Barclays gets saturated with wrestling.

The WWE has probably the most contentious relationship with its fanbase I've ever seen. They don't know how to engage with their modern audience outside of the super casuals who don't question anything, and sometimes actively make moves to spite them (and, weirdly, their own performers). The fans, in turn, will come out to shows, but many out of some weird sense of duty or obligation and they do everything in their power to make their displeasure known.

The onus is definitely on WWE to fix that, but they won't. Fixing it requires admitting they're doing something wrong, and we all know Cokeboy ain't down for that.
