Honorable mention goes to Sabu vs Sandman. Now this could be due less from lack of chemistry and more with those two being dope addicts, but they had a match on one of those 97 ppv shows that was one of the worst ever. Just botching table and ladder spots left and right. One of the reason I hated ECW

I still maintain that the Rollins cash in at 31 was stupid and pointless. The match didn't need it and the fans were never going to be as into another Roman/Brock match as they surprisingly were with that one (and they didn't).

:jbhmm: Really? I've never seen anyone have a problem with Rollins cashing in. To me, that took a great match into classic status.

Roman shouldn't have been in that spot to begin with. But the match just so happened to succeed against all odds. Seth cashing in during the match, in the main event of the biggest show of the year, was something that had never been done before. It was a great character moment and created a highlight that will be remembered for years to come. Brock didn't need to win, people wouldn't have reacted well if Roman won, but Seth winning is something that was guaranteed to have people :wow:.

And to be fair, if Brock and Roman had better matches in 2018, the fans would have been into them. There's nothing you can get out of fifteen F-5s, ten spears, eight Superman Punches, and a badly booked finish.

The WWE AJ vs Nakamura matches were decent at best.

it was a ripoff.
their match is just the first few minutes of the njpw bout with wwf wack quality and moveset bringing the encounter down.
shyt pissed me royally off viewing it live on a big screen.
including easily making it into one of the numerous reasons.
the ban hammer was easy as fukk to drop.
after that orange goblin returns shyt.

fukk WWE.

Used to think an Edge/HHH feud would work character and in-ring wise... neither did when they finally did it.

Came in here to say AJ/KO, was beat to it.

ko was always an inferior worker to styles.
you couple that with a constrictive WWE quality wise and i could see potentially that being a waste of time.

as real talk,.. After aj versus nakamura. You really not getting no aj like the aj we saw that was aj. Plus you not gon get the Indy hero in a high quality form under a wee umbrella as well. just from simple semantics and mantras that the WWE shackles their talent with.

I think it was more competitive than genuine hatred

I remember they were talking bout how Rock and HHH came up with the people's elbow together because Undertaker was mad cool in real life but refused to break kayfabe and they thought that would make him laugh in front of the crowd.

Then it ended up taking off out of nowhere :wow:

Might explain why the funniest people's elbow ever was vs the Undertaker

This shyt had me :russ:

You can go back to certain interviews pre Rock in Hollywood..Cripple H is buckdancing today for the Rock..bowing down like everyone else but he really thought him and Rock were on the same level and that Austin was the guy on another level. Reality caught up though. Now they can't do shyt without calling the Rock a partner..lol

Yeah.
Their recent match at TLC was the only one between them that was really trash.

Co-sign. And even that match at TLC wasn't trash. It just was the absolute wrong kind of match to have given the nature of the build-up.

I found Bash at the beach & HH '94 really good

any orange goblin match is a waste of time.

especially if you watch in shape hogun vs muta.
as it just shows what could have been.
if hogun stopped sharking golden eagle mixed with Billy graham.
with the same ham fisted high point of mr t.
misappropriated as thunderlips ala hogun via cinema kayfsbe meets squared circle jerking workks.
which residuals resonated visually.
dominating rocky in a boxing work via movie.
Making hogun visually into this imaginary silver screen king of all the rings. When in reality,...mr t should have been favorably booked and worked up and protected.
to eventually beat hogun for the title favorably.
as this silver screen king of all the rings based face.
or at least setup a larger pool of talent worldwide like muta to jyd. Instead.
all we got was this orange goblin garbage as the gateway.
till scsa had to crush the buildings.
to where to this day,..the rock still has not main event secured.
the WWE title as mania as a face over Austin or hhh.

which is only acceptable in this white world.
all because of the components of agentry based narcissism of the orange goblin.
creating this gateway and monopolistic racist profitable model that will continue to shackle all industries.
plus pro wrasslin included.

HBK had wayyyyyy better chemistry with Owen Hart than he did with Bret

Pull up every HBK/Owen match and watch some magic

I would agree with this. Bret also had better chemistry with Owen than HBK, which isn't surprising. What IS kind of surprising is Nash had better chemistry with both Bret and Shawn than they had with each other. Bret/HBK's best match was probably 1992 Survivor Series tbh.
