Can't count that and it would have been hard to top this classic.
HBK was still green
HBK was a 9 year vet at that point. They didn't mesh well because they were both super bumpy heels who had weak/no offense. They were too similar.Seth Rollins and Finn Balor put on some really boring matches with all the people i would expect them to have good matches with....including each other.
a lot of these new "great" wrestlers put on avg to below avg matches in WWE. its like they left all the good behind in the indies.
yeah its weird...sometimes we'll get a 25 min match from someone but it will be trash and full of fukkery that doesnt add anything to the match.I agree But a majority of this is due to them not being able to have that freedome to go all out like in njpw and roh
Nope WWE inferior to Japan so it don't count. We can count that because they had what 4 times to get it right in WWE

Undertaker vs Bret was some bullshyt
Undertaker was trash in the 90s tbh

Nah. While they did have that one shytty match at Royal Rumble '96, their two matches in '97 are excellent. The one from One Night Only is an underrated classic.Jericho/Edge, Kurt/HHH, Taker/Bret, Shawn/HHH (Outside SSlam 02 and that RAW 03 matches)
I remember being so hype for that feud and absolutely sick of it by the end. The booking wasn't great, but the matches weren't anything to write home about either.KO/Styles
