It depends on whether or not they can pull in Sting...

If they can, there you go

If they can't...Undertaker vs Punk for the WWE title, HEADLINING this time

Brock/HHH, nope
Shield vs whoever, nope
WHC match, nope
Cena and or Rock, nope

The entire point of Punk's heel turn was due to a lack of respect cause he wasn't getting top billing as WWE champ, Cena was still the "top guy" despite Punk's repeated victories over him and his own unprecedented streak. Heyman got in his ear and he went full on heel. Well now he'll get it. He'll get it against the unrivaled record of 20-0 Undertaker, the last of the past era, the guy who had backstage heat with Punk's attire (so I've heard), THEE General of the WWE, Mean Mustard Mascara Mark himself...

Undertaker is past his prime and struggled with other legends likewise; can he take on the undisputed, defending and record-breaking reigning WWE champion in his prime who has taken out the likes of John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Alberto Del Rio, Chris Jericho, Big Show, Undefeated Ryback (already broke one streak :mjpls: ), and The Rock.

Or will the dead man finally Rest...in...Peace...(GTS reference)

Very dope. It seems like Punk will be gone sooner than later, so a win is probably out of the question, but I'd like to see the buildup though.

Gotta be honest, Taker facing a man that's been champ for more than a year would certainly make the contest appear like a legit threat to the streak

The last time I went into a WrestleMania thinking ":obama: he could actually lose tonight" was against Orton at WM 21. When he hit that counter RKO from the Chokeslam I was ":gladbron: he's done it"

^^

I don't think it's a bad idea. Haven't been following WWE for a few months but I saw the main event TLC match and those dudes put in work. Have Taker come back early at Royal Rumble like he was rumored to do, and have them come out and destroy him. Of course you don't put them over Taker at WM but the rub with him would help them out a lot even in a L depending on how it's booked.

Punk match would be a good look too though but Punk won't be champion if it happens.

Where is this mindset that the heel WWE Champion who doesn't draws is what counts? That's just a gimmick. A prop. His title run is as much as a gimmick as Goldberg's streak. This is the payoff. The Rock match. The night after Mania 28 TOLD EVERYONE how the storylines were gonna end up. The Rock with a title run. Everyone else is fodder and a pretense. CM Punk is doing decent promos and got alot of kids around here convinced...kind of gullible but he's not what WM 29 is all about. It's either Rock or Taker and if they wanted to do something really huge, they do Rock/Taker for the title or Rock/Lesnar for the Title. There is nothing bigger than those matches on the roster.

all they have to do is,....
Book it as a crashtv match...no holds barred with no dq, no countout.
So everyone whom the shield smashed on gets a chance of comeuppance to help taker maintain the streak for the integrity of the wwe.

Or hell no joins with taker in another TLC.
Which is more believeable.
As taker is definitely not rybacl at this point.

Rock/cena ii, for the title is the only storybook moneymatch of intrique for the wwe title at this point.
As wwe buried pink to harshly the last time they squared off.
So, punk already has a negative connotation and cowardly heel look to him.
From that encounter, that ruins the draw for that match.
As punk, has benefitted from having the look of the best inring competitor.
Which is why I do not think they will book, taker/punk.
as that worthy ring competitor vibe is stripped away.
from punk's previous burial by taker.
Punk/taker is a rivalry match the wwe ruined back, then.
Instead of letting punk become the newer better hbk like rival to taker back then.

you need to watch TLC....

I thought Ambrose was mike sanders short in promo.
As I never got a great look to judge his height or believeability size wise.
In TLC, him and Tyler were both physically way more imposing than I originally thought.

Ambrose is a tall imposing ass dude and ye shield is not a weak link looking group.
When you see them in action over the course of a match.
Plus, their teamwork together to divide and conquer is top notch.
Probably the best gang mentality stable in wrasslin history in a match.
Those dudes beat motherfukkers down,...

Peep TLC,....that shyt is the best debut in wrasslin history, easy.

I thought Tyler was going to have to carry this group.
Nah,...this group has that it factor.
Even solo, they are have over the top imposing convinceability.
they even fit into Vince's fascination and fetish for size, too.

The shield is that demo....

When HHH-UT was being built up, I don't recall them EVER mentioning that UT had already beaten HH at WMania...it was a long time ago, they're totally different levels now, that means absolutely nothing now except maybe a ploy to get under the skin of Punk in a promo

Punk (and this goes for anybody during the Road to Wmania) can be booked to look however you need him to cause honestly now is the time people start really paying attention to the product. Cause, you know, if you put some care and effort into something, others will too...

Rock is here today, gone tomorrow, you can't rely on him to hold a championship and honestly...he's above that and doesn't need it. Last thing wwe needs is to cheapen the title value by playing hot potato with it again. Rock/Cena II will probably have some stipulation to it to make the booking different, and that's that. The match builds itself, it doesn't need much help.

HHH/Brock pretty much seems like a done deal...not that I like it cause I pretty much know the outcome but it is what it is

And for baby jesus's sake, Cena does not need anymore title runs. Hell, it's been proven he doesn't need the title at all, they (along with the "Universe") still peg him as "top guy", whether he likes it or not.

You have to think ahead for the future of this company and building Superstars, the story needs to stop ending at WMania and more effort into making everything lead to more continuing into 2013, that goes for all the matches.

As always they'll put their "best efforts" into the road to Wmania, Wmania itself, then straight to cruise control until SummerSlam, but there's potential for some great story telling with the pieces they have

I havent watched the E in months, but if the Shield is legit than they should form a Stable with Taker as the leader.

Last time UT had a stable...it ended up not being his stable...

However...if they truly let it be his... :ehh:

What would be the story behind this, what's his motivation?

What would be the story behind this, what's his motivation?

Put Taker at Semi Larry Holmes status

Give him a 5-6 month run reign of terror, where he wins both clean and with help. Let the shield take out roster one by one, locker room beatdowns, boilerroom kidnappings, all types of fukkery.

This would give the E, 5-6 months to build up a baby face that'll beat taker clean. Doesn't even have to be someone new, could be Brock. UT can go on Vacation and the RAW after can be a post WM14 type RAW. Where they can establish themselves. Hell they can write UT off TV by blaming the Sheild for the L and the Shield would than turn on him.

The payoff would be the new leader would get Taker post Vaca.

From the 5 min of what I saw last week with Flair, Regal would be perfect for them. :obama:
