Philadelphia is somewhat of a random choice in my opinion, but I guess it makes sense. NY and Jersey only a couple hour drive away, which many people will be willing to make the trek for the Wrestlemania events

It's not a random choice at all. Big wrestling market, large facilities nearby to be able to handle the amount of people, Commutable from Boston to DC, airport is close to the stadiums, and they hosted Mania 15.

Also, Philly happens to be the home of Comcast, who owns NBCU and Peacock, and could possibly buy another well-known entertainment entity between now and 2024.

My boy was just telling me about it earlier. Not a city I was expecting. Definitely thought Minnesota might get one first. But Philly had hosted before so I'd give them a chance. Hopefully the weather is decent. I know during 35 it was cold but don't remember if it was extremely cold. It did rain I believe afterwards, but nothing like Tampa last year. Philly prolly be cheaper than LA next year tho. Don't know how safe it'll be by then but of course just gotta avoid certain areas and watch yourself regardless. I'm interested. Only spent one day in Philly some years back on a trip up to tristate area so definitely want to see more.
