Why do people still act like social media isn’t mostly a negative space? Here’s everything I think is silly about the original post.
1. People trying to pretend like 100 negative comments reflect the feelings of the entire gender or group. Instead of those 100 individuals.
2. People reacting to negative comments instead of being surprised when there are none.
3. Chick making grand statements like being a dime while ignoring the fact that looks are subjective.
4. Act like taking a wig off makes her a strong black woman. The strong black women already know they can take a wig off... or put it on for that matter and will be criticized either way because some people get on the internet to be mean.
But some of the jokes are

I mean I dont get this thread at all, her hair looks bad, so she got roasted.
Plenty of woman rock their natural hair (braided or otherwise) and keep it looking good.
Wearing a wig is not an excuse for your natural hair to look bad.

To the sista on the bus getting glitter or glue put in her hair cause some jealous sista who got two inches of her (cause her momma lazy and puts rubber bands in her hair) mad cause she aint got hair.
To the sista who gets jumped after school and the first thing the girls jumping her do is go after her hair (rather pulling it or trying to cut it) saying how they gonna cut or pull out all her pretty long hair.
I mean we can go on and on about this shyt and that ain't even going into sistas who talk about sistas with short hair. Calling them nappy headed or how they need to comb that shyt.
Or how some sistas freak out if they hair ain't fried and laid to the side. Soon as their permed hair gets kinky even a little they running to get it permed. Or refuse to not wear weave just one day cause they think their natural kinky hair looks bad.
I am dealing with this shyt now with my sister in law who is damn near bald headed cause she refuses to not wear sow ins for 12 months and 52 weeks out the year.
Yet she talking to me asking me what methods to use in order to go natural and I am like well first you need to give your hair a break and leave the sow ins alone. Then she looks at me and says hell naw I can't walk around with nappy hair .....
