I also don’t think he would want his legacy to be described this way. Or for women to be celebrating his death the way they are. Like the whole thing when you look at it from an objective perspective—it’s actually wild how polarizing he’s seen. At some point we as a community need to take a step back and examine the way we relate to each other, talk to each other, and the messages we’re putting out there to each other and in front of the world. I’ve been saying both sides are guilty of it but in his case, it’s unfortunate on how those dynamics and the way he chose to approach the dysfunction was negatively perceived by those in the community (brehettes—the group he was trying to reach in the first place) and those outside of the community.
