WWE performers are personally responsible for acquiring their own health insurance, life insurance and financial planning.
I didn't say WWE pays for their insurance. I said if you get injured and require a major surgery, WWE will pay for it. There's a difference between breaking your leg like Seth, and catching a cold

They'll pay for top guys yeah, but someone like konnor from ascension or a Zack Ryder is screwed.

This is what I'm thinking. Too lazy to check.

Do you have proof that WWE wouldn't pay for Konnor or Ryder's surgeries, or are you just talking out of your ass? I just realized I'm arguing with a guy named Superkick Party. Indie bias

Indy main eventers gotta go as hard as WWE mid carders with no downside guarantee for injury

How Much Do WWE Wrestlers Get Paid?

A wrestler’s base salary can be diminished, however, in the event of in-ring injury. Multiple contracts stipulate that, should a wrestler suffer an in-ring injury that leaves him/her unable to perform for six consecutive weeks, then that wrestler’s base salary will be reduced by 0.5% for every house show or TV taping missed thereafter. For every pay-per-view event in which a wrestler is unable to perform after that six week period, minimum pay will be reduced by the average pay received for the three previous PPV events (or 0.5% if the wrestler didn’t perform in any).

This language appears in the contracts of Raven, Mike Sanders, Brock Lesnar and Stephanie McMahon. Chris Kanyon had an eight-week grace period. No such language regarding time missed due to injury appears in Triple H’s contract. In the event of in-ring injury, all costs of treatment and necessary rehab are paid by WWE.

Beyond base salary, wrestlers are

If I could find the interview I would, but someone straight up said WWE doesn't pay for midcarders when in comes to injuries.

No they don't. It's an insane difference. You have to carry shows, and do a bit of promo, but that's not doing 5-6 shows a week and shyt. That's not HAVING TO BE THERE, if you're used or not.

WWE stars do a minimum of 300 days a year. I would say an indie me about 150-200. Huge difference. Plus there's the dark shows after taping and shyt.

They would likely have to pay for in ring injuries, regardless. But there's the rub. The wrestler would likely have to prove the injury was suffered inring, and not before, or due to neglect. That's how sports teams get their lower leveled people, and I expect WWE to be even more cutthroat.

Most indy shows are Fri-Sun only from what I've seen. It would be hard to get 200 shows if you're not adding in Japan
