WEB is the most important black hero in American history. Next to Obama he is the example of what negroes can achieve in America.
i like obama, but he is not 2 in my book of what negroes can achieve. i honestly think he fact that he was raised by whites is what made other groups warm up to him.
i think the idea that blacks cannot lead affects other groups ideas of our parenting. this is why you have so many popular movies like Losing Isiah or the Blind Side where whites come in and save the negro child. Or movies where they come into our schools and their very presence saves us from gangs, abusive parents, poor morals and study habits
a symbol for what negroes can achieve should at least be realistic. most negroes aren't raised by white people so they will face more challenges than obama unless they are willing to c00n it up like michael steele
i think oprah is pretty high on that list of what black people can achieve.

this issue is some cacs think they #1 ...its not the idea, its blacks gonna let another group tell them, what they can or cannot do, and frankly, if there so many c00ns, c00n blacks cannot tell blacks what they can or cannot do, so there has to be a superPACblack group who oks certain things...
the movies are a subconscious training tool, you look at it as, they dont like black parenting...a cac watch that movies, might looks at it as, the race dont know what they doing, and cac can save the race...
they project what they think about yall, thats why the movie was made, and why it received so many awards, they want ya to be/act powerless
what challenges do negroes face that negroes cannot fix? a lot of white people have issues and problems, and the republican chair prolly had normally upbringing and switched to republican, even michael steel has complained about racism within republicans...
thats another thing oprah is a black woman worth around $2.4 billion, the richest black is man and he is around $12 billion and african...the sky is not the limit, and there are a bunch or african billionaires who are not public with their billions, private money groups have confirmed it...
also the richest person in the world per western media is not American and made most of his monies in "poor" South America in the telecomm business.
think about it, what was Dangote target for success if Dangote is the first black african man on western paper with money? who was Dangote looking forward to succeed?

i understand what you are saying, but black americans see themselves separate from Africans. obama is accepted among us as one of us because he's half white so we feel the mulatto ancestry is something we have in common and he's alright with us.
his father on the other hand, is Kenyan. we won't own him.
africans who are accepted among us are either mixed (amber rose, elle varner) or have assimilated and can pass as one of us

Obama is black per western american standards.
Specifically Obama is African and Caucasian who was lawyer, senator and Harvard grad. Obama go elected because of his diverse appeal. The mixed ancestry is minimal in the grand scheme of things. Obama got a black wife. Obama dated cacs and didnt identify with them. Obama pastor, Jeremiah Wright was a fundamentalist national. Core of Obama is black in connection to his African roots. Specifically, the first "black" president is African and Caucasian, why do you think there is an uproar on his race? Cac minds so wired with hate, they think its impossible.
Color issue is limiting to blacks, because blacks can create a mulatto, but a mulatto cannot create a mulatto.
Addditionally money sees no boundries. That why a lot of artists do connect with Africa and make trips there.
But even with the ideology to fit in, there are more blacks in Africa who are multi billionaires and multi millionaires than in the United States, in spite of all the mixing and in breeding, and in African there are 33 tones and for the most part, all get along...

it is not obama's race so much as who he was raised by which is why i pointed out black characters from movies such as the Blind Side. i do think his race played a part, but who raised him played a bigger part.

Mulatto is a term used to refer to a person who is born from one white parent and one black parent.
Color issue is limiting to blacks, because blacks can create a mulatto, but a mulatto cannot create a mulatto.
Also, the term is not commonly used any more but is generally considered archaic because of its association with slavery, colonial and racial oppression.
