This right here is bomb. It's 600sqft but the inside looks spacious. Love the oversized windows. I'm a fan of whether it's a condo, townhouse or single family. I think if they were mass produced and got a decent sized yard people would get them as starter homes fresh outta college/ trade school.

People tend to take on too much house when starter homes are out the picture. I think a home this size or slight larger can help them properly gauge how big they want their next home. You wouldn't want buyers remorse after buying a home with way too much Sq footage. Furnishing a home is another expense most people don't take into consideration.

How much is this?

Edit: $400 sq/ft x 600 sq/ft = $240k :lupe:

Housing isn't supposed to be this ever appreciating asset. It's just supposed to be a place so you can live in it with your family and raise your kids. Capitalism running wild is why the average home price is over $400,000 and the average American can't even afford it. Housing isn't this expensive in majority of the world.

I heard something about Japan in that after 7 years their houses become worthless or something along those lines.

Since Japanese tax rules cause freestanding homes to depreciate to zero in less than three decades, owners do not have to worry about choosing a house design that appeals to the masses.

It’s always expected that when the time comes, a buyer will demolish an old house and rebuild a new one to their liking.

I like the concept of sustainable homes though

I'd more go for something like this

Yeah I want to build an Earthship. I remember when I first found out about them I thought they were stupid until they showed the inside and explained how it works to cool and heat itself plus the interior was very well put together.
