I think it is self evident that "fries" means regular fries. And Tots are on menus for a reason :manny: somebody does

There is no standard fry across restaurants. It’s whatever fries they choose. Various places have all those options as their “regular” fries.

For instance, waffle fries are the regular fries at Chik Fil A.

A lot of diners have crinkle fries (the worst fries) as their regular fries.

Im a french fry nut so any of the above really.

But depending on what they do to them Ill pay the extra +$3 for loaded fries.

Regular fries and crinkle fries are tied for next.

Garlic parm and cheese fries are #1/2 but not common at fast-food joints. I'll take curly fries
