I'd hire him for the business end, and to do some on camera stuff as the agitated Jim Cornette character. But a position dealing with other people or creative? Lord, no.
I don't think he has much to offer to the business today. The business has passed him by entirely, so he can tell you about the Midnight Express or working with Bob Armstrong, but it won't matter much in today's wrestling industry. As an on screen character, he peaked about 25 years ago, so there isn't much reason to bring him on screen, either. There are plenty of his contemporaries I'd hire, but Cornette just has nothing to offer to me beyond "in my day" type stories.

I would on booking feuds that emulate the 80s. Sure Corny turns everything into SMW, but his work in ROH was actually pretty tolerable. Especially with turning Steen into an anti-ROH persona during his time in the promotion.
Jim is definitely a unique character.I think he still could be a great addition to any promotion just off experience and knowledge alone.Just watched this yesterday..

I would hire him as a road agent or as a consultant. He could still help in creative but not in a top role.
