Jadakiss aint a legend. He is a staple and icon in NY hip hop tho. I would even rank him higher than Raekwon

To be a hip hop legend you either gotta have an undeniable impact on the culture or have a great discography, (most of the time you have to have both really)and he really doesn't have a claim to either. He'll go down as one of the most talented rappers to do it, but he'll be a regional legend at best.

nah. he's dope, but let's be real. the nikka is probably one of the biggest let downs in hip-hop, seeing as he hasn't released a single album that comes to "classic" status (unless we're including we are the streets?), despite being preceded by so much hype.. he's a mixtape rapper, through and through, ultimately incapable of putting together a complete album.

Nope.

Back in '01 he woulda had a case. Since then I think Styles is the best outta the LOX.

Gangsta and a Gentleman & Supa Gangsta Extraorinary Gentleman are great albums.

Yes. People were too hard on that first Jada joint, that's how damn near everyone's album were back then, esp. first time coming out solo, they wanted dude to sell, I think all three of the albums are solid, they lack cohesion, and could use depth, but Jada got songs man. I can listen to all three of those albums, given the mood, or desire, a lot of peoples work hasn't aged as well as Kiss. He never gave us, and never will, imo that one album, that 'classic', or even like a 'B. Coming', but it is what it is.

nikkas confuse being a legend with being in GOAT contention. Dude has been in the game forever and has made an indelible mark in the hip hop community. Everyone knows Jada. He's respected as a lyricist by fans and MCs alike. He'll never be forgotten regardless if some want to say he fell off. The same goes for a Busta Rhymes or even Fat Joe. They're not gonna be in anybody's top 10, but they're ingrained in hip hop culture forever. Sounds like a legend to me.

He fell in that early 2000's trap of making the cookie cutter album

Ok.here's the song for the ladies
Here's the song for the south
Here's the song for the West
Here's the inspirational 2PAC keep your head up song

But feel me off his.debut one of my favorite songs ever

Yep, Jada is a legend, dude has a lot of dope bars, was in two legendary beefs (Beanie Siqel and that lyrical spanking of 50 back in 05) Legendary diss track (Animal), makes dope music, etc.

And he killed Biggie on his own song (Last Day).

Had a verse on a legendary tribute track (We'll always love Big Poppa)

A dope album (Kiss of death).
