AGAIN, give me 15 mins and a ball on any court. i'm getting a few points, a few boards, a couple of steals, a couple of assists. its a round ball, on a 10 foot rim. nothing has changed. i've played the game my entire life. if i cant get by rondo. i'm calling for some big man to set me a screen, rondo will of course go under the screen ASSUMING i cant shoot. mistake. FOR THREEEEE.
Oh, so you are one of those dudes who permamently glued a telephone to your head waiting for "the call".

15 minutes on any court? I'm sure you would be the Michael Jordan of the 3-on-3 intramural league at a community college.

not mj. just rapbeats. basketball is not the nfl. you wont get hit once by ray lewis and die. lol. now you might get dunked on, crossed over. you may run into a mean pick. but beyond that. its still just a 10 foot court, if you can shoot a little bit and you know the fundamentals of the game. you should always on any court , no matter who you are playing against. be able to squeeze out a couple of points, a couple of boards. a steal and a couple of assists(if you're playing with top tier talent on your squad besides yourself.

Some of y'all dudes are crazy. In this day and age where a viral video can rake in thousands of dollars, you wouldn't try this out? :wtf:

Uh, did you read the original post. You are paying $10,000 to play for 15 minutes. You aren't getting paid, you aren't getting per diem. You are losing money in lieu of 15 minutes of fame.

Do you know how much money people have made from "15 minutes of fame"???

the endorsements would pay ten times over

I can't believe people are in here not realizing how much money you could make from this opportunity :smh:

It takes money to make money.

If i had it like that financially, hell yeah. I be a heistbox. I 'd be worst than Kobe. better think twice before you pass me the ball.I'm 6'1 with shoes, 175 and in the best shape of my life. 15 minutes a game aint going wear and tear me.

Thats a dream to play in the league. I aint got no worries about the pg's of this generation:pacspit:. Now if that was Francis, GP, or BDiddy i was going against:whew:

Woat poster :snoop:

NBA is a level above everything else. Just because you played with ex-NBA players and Div I players doesn't mean you got the goods to score or be productive in 15 minutes of an NBA game. That's a pipe dream.

Yeah, it's like this. If this dude had 15 minutes on the court, that would make him semi-famous. If he didn't score a point, he would become infamous for being the dude who paid $10,000 just to run around for 15 minutes.

A lot of dudes who don't make the cut in the NBA, but are good, are at least are playing pro basketball in Europe or something like that. This clown is just playing pick-up ball.

IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF.....it doesn't matter what the outcome of the 15 minutes are. You're literally paying for 15 minutes of fame. There is money to be made and WELL over 10k

:what: This has absolutely nothing to do with anything that I'm talking about.

No, he's losing money. He's paying $10,000 to pay.

But, I can see what you mean. You are thinking the fifteen minutes would be like a 15 minute tryout and team owners would be burning up his agent's phone. That or it would open the door for him to become a TV reality show star. If you think it's a great idea, then fine. There's no NBA team who would sell out 15 minutes of one game to an off-the-street hoopster.

LISTEN. i didnt say i would be productive playing 15 mins for a full 82 game season with coaches finally scouting me and lock down defenders learning my tendencies.
i'm saying. if i stepped on the court tonight for a quick 15. i promise you i would be productive.

unlike most people i can and have done more then one thing on the court.
most people are short, and they're scorers that can penetrate but not shoot that well and not good passers.

-shooters that can only shoot, cant pass that well, cant dribble at all, is afraid to drive vs rec league comp, and have zero defense, zero athleticism.

-point guards that are great passer, but cant shoot to save their lives.

-dudes who are great defenders, very athletic, but cant shoot, dont have any footwork and no post moves.

-bigmen who are just big with zero footwork, no post moves.the ones that have to be spoon fed to score.

even at 6'2, i've been on teams where i was the tallest dude. guarding 6'10 guys. stupid i know. but hey it was what it was. and i did ok on defense and got mines on offense. of course being 6'2 and athletic meant if i could guard a big, i darn sure could guard a SF, SG, and PG. big or small, hyper athletic or not.

i know how to play the angles, i watch the nba. so i know guys tendencies more then they do mines.
best believe, i would call a screen and get some quicky pg up off of me and yank that trey or mid range jumper.

see if you have the ability and skill to do a little bit of everything. and you're not afraid of the height, length and athleticism of the nba guys. yes you can be productive on the floor for 15mins. i never said i would put up 10 pts. i said i would play decent defense. hit a couple of shots(WIDE OPEN of course). get a couple of rebounds, catch someone slipping on a double team, steal a pass, and get a couple of assists.

I play like earl clark just with a post game to add to it. i'm not great at anything but defense, but i'm pretty good at everything else.

choose wisely. you can pick an easy win for your TEAM but a bad night for yourself.

if you envision playing PG, just remember before you pick the Kings. beware you will get crossed out by little I.thomas, and spun on by Tyreke.

let me play which ever team has a point guard that plays zero defense and doesnt have a wicked crossover.

No I'm saying I would use that 15 minutes of fame to make money through other ventures. Merchandise with some lame ass slogan, write a book about how I fulfilled my dreams to play in the NBA :russ:

Then turn that book into a lifetime movie :ohlawd:

The possibilities are endless and people will buy what you have to sell simply because you're "famous".
