would it be accurate to say LeBron is on the decline, and Father time is knocking?

I don't think father time has a finger on Lebron, still by far the most physically beastly dude in the league. He just ran into a greater team, point blank. Great teams can make the greatest players seem bad. He's still IMO the best player in the game.:manny:

He just needs to adopt the same fukk it mindset from last year's finals, where he gave no fukks and put up monster numbers in close games.

Your delusional if you think he's the best player in the game

LeBron really just needs to focus on improving his midrange/outside shot. I'm talking about a complete dedication to the art of shooting the basketball. Jordan developed that deadly fadeaway after that first retirement stint. It really let him stay on top of the league because he was still able to jump and score on people down low, but now he had a fadeaway that was almost un-guardable. Worried about him shooting the fadeaway on you? Well guess what he is also fast enough to get by you if you are caught sleeping. LeBron is in the position physically to do the same...even bigger than Jordan.

After Golden State sweeps Cleveland he needs to understand this and instead of quitting I really hope he comes back and works on his shooting game. It will be an ultimate bytch move if he bolts out of Cleveland back to Miami or some shyt.

not a troll post, but after watching the first 2 games of the Finals it's pretty obvious (to me) that LBJ's athleticism is starting to leave him. I'm watching him try to overpower defenders and get to the rack, but his body isn't responding like it did years ago. He is struggling with his jumper b/c his legs aren't what they use to be...he can't get the same lift, he def can't finish like he once could....it's sad seeing 1 of my fave players of all time start to decline :wow:
was yall sayin this when cavs was runnin thru the EC in the playoffs ?

LeBron never really was skilled, he relied 95% on athleticism.

Kobe, Wade, Jordan, etc guys who were extremely skilled were able to be effective in late stages in their career..

LeBron at 33,34 will be no different than Dale Davis :yeshrug:

2007 Lebron was skilled confident....had to many mental lapses & not enough fundamental work. I feel be peaked 9 yrs ago.

:dahell: he developed a reliable jumper from 2008-09 through 2014 and added a very effective post game since then too, and that just on offense. He got so much better on defense after 2007

2007 was domination and like he was earning the king title. I feel like the clay was better at that point and defense was because of coaching. He had a post game in 2007 and could fade it like Jordan....playoffs against Pistons he had moves, speed, & swag.

Looking at that instant classic against Detroit...he was dominate w/ very high confidence, imo
