The Truth
I always said the only way to really beat a Prime, motivated Floyd is to outbox him

fukk that pressure combination shyt. I will say that reach AND speed would be his biggest obstacles but he's beaten taller fighters as well.

Thing about Floyd is that he finds a way to win. He always said you can be bigger than him, stronger, faster, harder puncher, etc., but you will never outsmart him.

Only person I saw actually outsmart Floyd was Zab Judah but his stamina and mental stability fukked him up in the end.

Floyd knows that too and respects him as a boxer

Hearns aint walking through floyds power
Hes had fukked up hands the last 8 or so years of his career and was backing up bigger dudes without even fullu sittin on his punches
This, plus although underrated imo Hearns chin wasn't exactly granted, he had a tendency to get caught with his hands down or countered/get hurt that way. He was susceptible to a body attack also, things that would work in Floyd's favor. On the flip side though. Hearns offensive arsenal was so on point I believe it would be a matter of mistakes and who could capitalize the most. Floyd is stronger than advertised and Hearns has been walked down by smaller cats before. Interesting fight. I'd favor Floyd at Welter, anything higher probably Hearns because he still maintained immaculate hand speed and power/seemed to be more durable at the higher weights, almost as if that's where he needed to be from the get.

Regardless this thread about Mayweather vs Hearns and that bout I'm going with Hearns. Hed be a stylistic nightmare for Floyd. Too much speed and power in a man that size.
Watch Floyd vs Corrales or Ndou and see what he does to tall fighters; is the short fighters who pressure and dip below his waist who he has trouble with ala Castillo, Zab, Manny, Cotto, Chino.....Tall fighters just place their selves in the target zone for lunging left hooks and overhand rights he shoots

If Floyd could handle a 154 Oscar I dont see Hearns having the speed, pop nor heart to discourage Floyd; who'll try to bring out the bytch in Hearns Chin; aside from Duran who of notice did Hearns really beat????

SRL is the guy who would trouble Floyd most in a fantasy matchup; even there we saw Floyd Sr win 4 rounds; I dont see Floyd not improving on that

Skip you should know better. Cmon son.

Coralles and Ndou are not in the same galaxy as Hearns. That comparison is bogus.

Floyd didn't handle a pasty his prime Oscar at 154. He won a split decision. We're talking about a prime Hearns here. And Oscar aint in the same galaxy as Hearns either. And you know this.

Too many of ya are a victim of the moment and inflate Mayweathers talent. Theres a reason he avoided prime fighters. Theres a reason he retired during the reign of prime fighters who were stylistic nightmares. Theres a reason FLoyd Sr told Top Rank to keep southpaws away from him. Theres a reason even Floyd says hes TBE OUTSIDE the ring in terms of business and finances.

Did he play the game and manipulate to make crazy amounts of $$ for minimal risk with well calculated and plotted moves? Yes

But inside the ring, naw. Hearns by KO. And I'm done trying to educate you guys with all these Mayweather vs threads. Cuz if ya objectively look at his resume, youll see he didn't fight many fighters in their prime. And that was by design.

I guess ya aren't aware of the PED he uses that's only legal in Las Vegas. I guess ya aint aware of the 6 drug tests he failed that he received therapeutic exemptions for, AFTER THE TESTS WERE FAILED. I guess ya aint aware of the money he personally would pay USADA in order to get those TEs after he failed those tests, instead of getting them prior to being tested which is protocol. And ya must have missed the clause team Mayweather TRIED to include in the contract for the Pacquiao fight that stated if either fighter fails a drug test that the results stay private and not be released publicly, which Freddie Roach refused to accept.

The truth will set you free, but not before it upsets you.

Hearns in a lopsided match. A Hearns v Mayweather bout would go similarly to when Hearns fought Benitez, with Hearns being too tall, too big and too much reach for Floyd to stand any chance of winning. SRL and Mayweather are pretty much equals when it comes to hand speed and boxing skills and SRL came to the realization that he would not be able to out box Hearns and he's not only taller than Floyd but has a longer reach as well. The one thing SRL has that Floyd lacks, which is why Floyd would lose this fight, is power which is what SRL used to beat Hearns. Floyd is too small, too defensive, and doesn't have the power to stop Hearns and wouldn't be able to out box Hearns.

I don't think

Paul Williams didn't die, however he is a paraplegic.
LOL
Yeah I don't know how they put Paul in the grave. From what I've heard people said he has handled the whole situation as best as a person could hope and he is financially stable and secure.

On topic, I think Hearns is too big and technically skilled for Floyd, the reach would cause Floyd major problems but unlike Chico, Floyd wouldn't be able to get on the inside and body Tommy, Tommy would outfight him on the inside and have him going through hell to get inside and he doesn't have the chin or power of a SRL to cause Tommy any problems

Breh Floyd not even a real WW. Tommy koed light heavy weights. After Tommy realizes this midget cant hurt me, he steam rolls him
Ha why you say Floyd can't hurt hitman? I assume we're talking both primes here. I give Hearns 6 out of 10 but Floyd takes four.
