Would DBZ have been better if Humans, Nameks etc could be as powerful as Saiyans

Yeah.

Not an issue in Dragonball, but from Z onward the Saiyans were just too overpowered compared to the other characters. So most of the major fights against villains ended up coming down to just stalling until Goku can make it to the battlefield (and of course he's never there at the beginning since he's always dead/injured/on another planet/training/etc).

Duuuuuvaaaaal!!
Yes ki based humans would be very interesting to the mix. Or maybe just focus the show onto a Sayian based planet/universe.

DBZ was partially the Gohan show until fans opened their mouths.

Thank god they did. fukk Gohan.

The fact he turned out how he did is a direct result of bytch nikkas crying cause Goku was constantly dodging being a family man by dying. If they stuck to their guns and kept Gohan as the main focus, he turns out different IMO.

He was always a hoe ass nikka. People severely overlook his actions.

Been said with his regeneration ability picollo could have mastered kaoken and then gotten a dragon like transformation like breh said earlier due to making his own special dragon ball to fuse with. Humans are ass, androids excluded

Eh, Gohan has done some questionable shyt but when we look at Vegeta and Goku he's got a much better track record. The Saiyans in general are just some dumb nikkas except Trunks who seems to be all about ending shyt before it even starts if at all possible.

There should have been more weak henchmen characters for the supporting characters to fight against, so that way Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha could still get some shine without jeopardizing the plot.
It sucks to see basically everyone not named Goku/Vegeta thrown into the bushes and jobbed out in every fight, but at the same time it would be too anticlimactic for Yamcha to score the final blow against a major villain.

And the way they did Gohan was criminal. He should have been that dude :to:

EDIT: the human characters (Tien, Krillin, Yamcha ) should have learned the Kaio-Ken.

Its more of the fact they didn't have fights to showcase them like in the beginning. They could still let sayians carry the load just give them good fights along the way. Like the RoF arc they should have had a 2v2 with gohan and piccolo

Yeah...Kind of like One Piece. Luffy fights the toughest while the rest of the crew takes care of the lower tier enemies or enemies that suit their fighting style.

Keep Yamcha trash though. It's too iconic

Part of what made Yamcha such a funny character is that it wasn't super obvious that he's trash at first glance.
The show built him up to be THAT dude.
He's the illest looking character on the squad...
All his attacks have cool names like the wolf fang fist...
He's a pro athlete and he's filthy rich...
All the ladies love him...
Bulma is head over heels for him in the beginning...

EVERYONE is :krs: whenever he comes through...
You'll be sitting there like :whew: it's about to be LIT...

Until you see him actually fight and he gets straight embarrassed, killed by a saibaman, getting his girl taken, getting impaled by Gero, etc.
He's like the Mighty Casey of anime :mjlol:

It's not as funny to me when they're super obvious about it, but that's just me.

Roshi and Tien both beat an adolescent Goku in Dragon Ball, who was suppose to destroy the Earth as a baby. Then Piccolo came mighty close to beating Goku at the end of DB.

What you're basically asking for is for them to continue Dragon Ball, which I actually prefer over DBZ after finishing it.
