Would Christopher Daniels have a "better" career if he was the Higher Power?

According to Prichard, in his podcast, the original idea was for him to be the HP in 99. Russo was the one who pitched it.

Where would his career be now if he was? Would he have won the "big one" and have plenty of titles under his belt? Or flopped?

Of course the booking plays a factor, but if you look back he would of been the "leader" of a faction where the Undertaker would be a follower. And that right there really says something about the spot he would of been in.

I don't remember if the Corporation was already aligned with the Ministry. Wasn't Vince revealing himself the moment they formed the Corporate Ministry?

HP = black scorpion

It would have worked because the higher power flopped because it was exactly the type of angle wcw made and ruined sting's ascention as a pop bf star.
So, when the same occurred in the wwf at a pivotal .
Plus inring wise the exact template wrasslin evolved to is a rehash of Daniels style series.

:russ: What? Ridiculous.

Can you imagine in hindsight something better than

?

Not even Jim Ross in his prime could've sold Daniels like that.

Vince made the angle trash. Using that to introduce a new character is exactly the type of thing that gets someone over. People talking about he's a nobody, that's the point. There was a time you introduced characters with pomp and circumstance to make you care about them. Not just "Hey, look at this guy" or relying on you knowing about them from their previous work elsewhere.

Or you're saying you all would have been upset when DiBiase's mystery partner was The Undertaker because Mark Calloway was a nobody :usure:

Daniels is a good promo and a good worker. He would have had an excellent career. He would have thrown himself fully into gimmick and character. At the very least he'd have gone on to be a mouthpiece and manager for a long, long time

A debut like that is one of the things Russo is 100% right about when he complains about the product today. The WWE gives you ZERO reason to care about new people as they just assume you've watched them in NXT or the indies.

Someone's music hits, they just shout their name and say they did this that and the other in some place and that's it

Who the fukk is Christopher Daniels?? Did he wrestle in WWF or WCW after this?

After I listened to that podcast I was like :dahell: that name sounds familiar though.
