Denzel did win for Glory.

:ohhh: Yeah Best Supporting Actor, I dun forgot.

nikkas overrate the fukk out of Russel Crowe in that movie. There was nothing about his performance that should make you think he deserves it over Denzel. Hell, he kept slipping into the Aussie accent at certain point.

:yeshrug:

Training Day isn't one of his best works, I'm saying this even though I liked it more than A Beautiful Mind. Even if Russel Crowe didn't deserve the Oscar, Denzel still got that award as an apology. How he gonna miss out on it as Malcolm X but get's it for playing a corrupt cop...:beli:

Saving Private Ryan losing to Shakespeare In Love is the ultimate snub/mistake imo.

Rocky is a great film. A classic even. But it's not better than Network. And it's DEFINITELY not better than Taxi Driver.

Forrest Gump is a good film. But Pulp Fiction and Shawshank are all-time greats. And Quiz Show is better too, imo.

The Insider is a GREAT film and Crowe's best performance imo. The pair were beaten out by American Beauty and Kevin Spacey. Denzel for The Hurricane was also a better choice for Best Actor. And honestly, M. Night wouldn't have been a bad pick for Best Director...6th Sense is still great.
