south bronx in da 80's

worst place in da country

Yep. I was there in the late 80's and that place was fukked up. Cabrini Green and the Taylor Homes back in the day in Chicago was equally as fukked up.
Oddly enough not many people in this thread are actually saying any place in Chicago. :ehh:

Somalia is a bless country on a real tho , Mogadishu 05 (pre included) was hood af.

Bermuda and African Village :mjcry:.

Dying peacefully was a blessing. It got to a level that serial killers were competing by displaying their work on the dead bodies they left to be found every morning. :sadcam:

shyts like looking into an abandoned psych ward:mjcry:

9th ward n Gary for me

They tore Cabrini and a few other projects down a decade or more back; maybe even longer ago. They moved most of those gangs into regular Black neighborhoods, which is why you see and hear of so much violence right now on the South and West sides.

Eastside Detroit - sitting in a friends car near abandon homes chilling and smoking for 10 minutes and one of the friends mentions "we've been here for too long, we gotta move before we get jacked":dwillhuh:

There's decent parts, just depends on where you are. :yeshrug:

But then again I haven't lived there since the early 2000s when I graduated.

Live your own life
Baltimore hood is one of the worst neighborhood I ever visited. The destituted neighborhood look like a ghost town. Most of the properties are boarded with plywoods and street is filthy. :picard:

Most of those places aren't in the west side :patrice:

Bolton Hill technically can be considered Central Baltimore and a lot of these places are almost near the county lines..

Bolton Hill is the West side. Anything west of Charles Street is West Baltimore. Lol @ you saying one place is too central, and the other places are " almost near the county lines." It's all west Baltimore

Exactly what I came to post...go west from downtown and shyt gets :merchant: real quick.

Also that area by the Federal prison. Those are the two most grimiest looking areas of Atlanta imo
Crips galore and they don't fukk around, you have to be a bold crazy fukk to do crime where a federal prison is the back drop.

The row houses in Cabrini are still there. All are vacant except one block. And it's still gutter af on that one block with 24/7 police presence.

I haven't been over there in a while but in the summer it was still bangers on that block 24/7, I'd imagine they're still there.

Honestly Chicago does not look that bad when you compare it to what I've seen in Detroit and flint. Chicago is very violent due to the gang culture but it doesn't have as many burned down buildings and dilapidated houses etc like you see in some places.

The exception is North Lawndale where the riots in the 60s happened.

Even Englewood doesn't look too bad other than O-block where Keef is from.

63rd street where the L is directly over the street for a long stretch is nasty af and is just a festering environment for crime.

Detroit looks 10x worse than Chi

Forgot about the neighborhood "Stop 6" in Fort Worth too.
My family back home said the young ones just don't care anymore brehs.

whenever you have projects (i.e. a lot people living in destute conditions in a building) it always lead to trouble, like sun valley in ATL and those projects in N.O and Chicago
