I saw the entire movie and loved it but salieri always envied mozart yes... but when mozart was dying it was like he had nothing else, nothing else mattered. how did he specifically betray him??? Mozart wasnt even that close with Salieri like that.

Yes those are betrayals but the thing is we KNEW from the very beginning of the movie how salieri was jealous of mozart's gift we knew he couldn't stand his ass... it wasn't a huge surprise. and even when mozart died he was STILL jealous!!! and the fukked up thing is mozart never even thought about salieri like that anyways... he just needed salieri to help compose his final pieces when he got too sick.
