i disagree. Simply because it lacked the MALICE that some of these others did. Fredo was duped by Ola and Roth. He was dumb as hell for it, and unspeakably sloppy, and did betray the family, but a lot of these others, like Sgt. Barnes, was way more malicious.

If you're talking about the opposite; michael betraying his brother and killing him...well by the rules of the movie and of La Cosa Nostra, that was quite justified.
