First it was Im asking dumb questions but now its something that is acknowledged by researchers...:mjlol:

And thats what I did. Brought it in and inquired right? :childplease:

Dude.

Do you think these researchers DID NOT KNOW that radiometric dating introduced errors????????????????????

its goddamn radioactivity....its not the measurement of a box for shipping :heh:

Because when we told you "radiometric dating" you moved the goalposts and said shyt like: "oh did you look at their results?" "How do you know their results are accurate?" "Did you do the research?" "Did you crunch the numbers?"

Yes because saying the method they used doesnt explain if the method creates an accurate answer on the age.
Like...who the fukk do you think you are? :what:

A son of God Almighty. :shaq: Who are you?

YOU DID NOT INITIALLY ASK HOW RADIOMETRIC DATING WORKED

I could tell you, but then you'd ask if i'd ever done it.

LUCKILY for you I HAVE done it on short time scales when looking at metabolic processes in humans...but then you'd challenge THOSE credentials

nikka you even had the fukking audacity to say "people can get online and pretend to be who they want to be"

So whats the point of engaging you if you keep making shyt up????

its not a sincere question -- its condescension--

Lets look at the bolded:
but what makes it ironic is your effortless stupidity.

:mjlol: That was quick. I thought it would take longer for your hypocritical side to come forth but it came in the next sentence

one could tell you to go read a book, but your response will likely be, ive read one book, the good book. and it gives me all the information I need to know. people like you, who believe in simplicity have no grasp of how complicated this world is. all you ask is that we dumb it down for you.

Yes I asked how did people know that what the scientists found in Australia was accurate.
I could tell you, but then you'd ask if i'd ever done it.

Tell me the lottery numbers for next week brethren.

Coolio. I dont care though but congratulations on that if that was your dream in life. Its cool when people accomplish the things they set out to.

nikka you even had the fukking audacity to say "people can get online and pretend to be who they want to be"

So whats the point of engaging you if you keep making shyt up????

Audacity? Yes.One can get on the net and pretend to be this or that. Look at what I posted.

I could easily be pretending to be what I said.... So just because I get on the net and say it, doesnt make me that. :ehh:

Engaging me? I dont remember inviting you to speak with me. I think this is the second time I've said this to you.

I dunno. Religious folk always claiming people put faith into science but come on, even if that were true, science has a good track record. Technology, medicine, space travel and everything else. It's all science. And scientists are out there trying to prove each other wrong. If something was amiss you better believe some other scientists would try and shoot it down at first opportunity.

No you missed my point breh. My point all along (that even you agreed with) was that people blindly follow science like people blindly follow religion. And this thread was evidence of that.

If all you are saying is that people blindly follow things, then yes, they do. However, following science is not at all comparable to following religion. Using them alike in the same sentence is disingenuous. Science is rooted in math which is the universal language. Everything thats produced in this world can be mathematically derived and explained. Science uses these mathematical explanations to understand how our world works and its history. This means science is based on universal truths than can be replicated anywhere. It can be proven time and time again. This is definitely not close to being comparable to how religion operates and you may want to open your mind to those truths.

Except you can. But it includes faith in which some refuse to gain. They want someone else to prove it for them and then they'll believe. But it doesnt work like that.

Again, science works on universal mathematical truth. Religion works on spiritual words. They are not the same. Faith in science has a different interpretation than faith in religion. One can be proven, the other must be believed.

we keep repeating: science is built on skepticism, they encourage it. afterwards, it becomes a law. religion doesnt embrace that practice. skepticism is frown upon. and there are far more appropriate words to use to describe believing in science than faith.
