I think it would be damn near impossible to appropriate all of those funds in a manner benefiting all people. Who determines what and how much of the new resources are committed to what people? Some people will feel slighted, begin to feel mistreated, conflicts start, and the cycle begins all over again. :damn:

There ain't no WAY $240 Billion will solve global poverty as the article claims.

I wouldn't be surprised if the US and Canada together haven't surpassed this total in donations to combat poverty in the last decade or so.

Anyone have official numbers?



240bn x 100 richest men = $24 trillion.

Let the rich have their money, because the masses are willingly giving it to them.

Folks rather let these guys make trillions off their back, and these same poor folks can't even afford to send their kids to college. :smh: I rather save money for a rainy day, and let these companies go bankrupt.

At some point people gotta take some personal responsibility.
