Saw it earlier..not bad a movie. There's a few dope scenes and the ending was somewhat anti climatic. Very little gore but had good imagery.

the scene with them walking up on the beach after the freght liner sank early on Is prolly one of my favorite literary scenes in history.

It was alright. It was enjoyable but some things took away from it for me.

1. The PG-13 rating There was barely any violence shown and I feel like they were gonna try and go for hyper realism in this movie and without the blood it was kinda lame.

2. the shyt was nothing like the book. and the movie seemed to kinda just meander about with no real purpose...idk. It just felt lacking, I dont know how to describe it.

However, it was still a very enjoyable movie, and this may be the rare possibility that the sequels planned for this franchise are better than the first movie.
