Yeah besides the new Captain America and the next Avengers, this movie is only other one that interests me.

From looking at the trailer again I don't believe this is just a comedy. Star lord will be a comedic character at times and in the comics he does wise crack but I think when the time calls for it he will be taking shyt seriously and bustin his guns. He has a different look in his eyes when they show him all jacked up, shirt off.

This looks to be influenced by Farscape and Firefly and it is directed by James Gunn who I really like as a director so I am pleased with what I have seen so far.
