Meh, just another set of predictions. Every week y’all post a series of articles or tweet that predict that this is going to last for xyz amount of time. But the truth is we really don’t know how long this will last at this point yet. I don’t understand jumping the gun, when this is constantly changing uncertain situation and at this point nothing there has not been nothing set in stone with how long this will really last.

If CDC says they wont have a vaccine until such and such date, that is not a prediction.

I’ve got news for you. There is always constant competition for vaccines for multiple disease states. Some still don’t have vaccines and they’ve been experimenting for years. It takes years to bring a vaccine to market. Clinical trials are rigorous and you can’t rush something out that is either not effective or harms people.

What you’re hoping for in this situation is a Hail Mary. All that vaccine is coming 100% in 1-17 months is foolish talk. How is 1 month even in your range? That’s ridiculous.

That doesn’t mean that the quarantine won’t end before the vaccine is ready. Hell something was posted last week about how the virus may slow down by summer—which would be all Trump needs to try to get the economy started back up. There are so many circumstances that are uncertain right now, we are only a month in. As I said in other threads, we don’t have the answers yet, we don’t know if the quarantine will last years, or several more months, even if the vaccine isn’t ready. It would be ideal to wait until a vaccine is ready, but look at our president, how people are already reacting only 4 weeks in, and the economy. We’ll see how this plays out.

I meant to say 17 months.

The vaccines are actually already here, the question is if it works. Yes it’s unprecedented but Billions are being pumped in this and there using new ways to make one.

With vaccines in the past have been abandoned due to the virus being contained and therefore no profit or lives to be saved.
