I’m a nurse so I have no choice but to work.

But if I didn’t I would absolutely take it, why wouldn’t I?

Salute to you, very difficult working in the medical field at the moment.

I’m just curious... if you take it, I highly advise that you maintain a good exercise regimen and diet.

I don’t care about money so that weak assumption that your directing at me as an insult fails.

You’re weak and unprepared and you’re EXACTLY to whom I’m interested in. I don’t care if the lockdown goes to the end of the year but what I do concern myself with is the potential for civil calamities and we’re getting close to a breaking point. At that point, my job because much more hands on domestically..and I’m honestly not looking forward to that. So yes, I’m very much invested in people getting back to some sort of normalcy in their lives.

Well, how do you propose we return to some sort of normalcy when we have a highly contagious pathogen - for which no vaccine or cure exists - that is killing tens of thousands of people in a matter of days? I guess I'm just puzzled by people like you and others who think we have to return to "normalcy" before society breaks down. Society has already broken down, or are you not observing what's currently taking place? Right now, we're a million miles away from where we were last year, all because an incompetent administration failed to be proactive and implement measures that would facilitate a fast and efficient response to the spread of a pathogen like this.

At this point, people pushing for society to open back up are becoming a threat. :francis:

Your worried about having side affects from the vaccine?

You don’t get vaccinated?

No it won't, you underestimate how nasty a lot of Americans are and live, so many people don't even wash their hands after using the bathroom and touch all kinds of shyt, probably don't clean their food properly either

Yes it will. The disease doesn't last for two months.

EDIT: dependent on the recovered developing antibodies to protect them from reinfection.

Who told you this information?

I’ve got news for you. There is always constant competition for vaccines for multiple disease states. Some still don’t have vaccines and they’ve been experimenting for years. It takes years to bring a vaccine to market. Clinical trials are rigorous and you can’t rush something out that is either not effective or harms people.

What you’re hoping for in this situation is a Hail Mary. All that vaccine is coming 100% in 1-17 months is foolish talk. How is 1 month even in your range? That’s ridiculous. :what:

Add to that, how many people are signing up for the first round of a rushed vaccine. Im not a fan of the stupid anti-vax movement but even I would be hesitant to take the first round of this shyt.

I don’t want to argue with people especially young people.

My hope is that you read the tea leaves and look beyond this pandemic shyt, if you feel you need to lock it down yourself then do so but also be cognizant of the fact that you have a majority of people who WILL get tired of lockdown measures and provoke measurable and unmeasurable responses from government that WILL adversely affect you regardless of your protestations.

We’re getting to a point where folks should start concerning themselves with their own personal welfare because you can’t fully restrict a country who’s citizens have enjoyed unmitigated personal freedoms and movement for a very long time without their being a call to arms somewhere in the mix.

Now I’ve personally seen how fast the virus cripples a man as my uncle died from it last week and his body was buried on an abandoned island by a team of inmates in hazmat suits..so I believe people should be extremely cautious in regards to the virus but I also believe that people need to be able to work if they can..although I believe the damage to the economy thus far is fatal.

Sure. Then you can blame ALLLLL the other world leaders that failed to act in taking this seriously.

Scapegoating is a mentally lazy practice one should not subscribe to breh
This.

People forget that Swine Flu came from American and European pig farms. It was just random chance that H1N1 Swine Flu ended up less deadly than COVID-19 coronavirus.

I like the sound of Nauru myself.

Or Guyana as hopefully the oil should be able to protect them somewhat from the worst effects of an economic downturn.

if it got put out very quickly in comparison to how long a vaccine usually takes. I'd probably assume that they'd basically be giving you the virus in as watered down a form as they can manage rather than an actual vaccine:mjlol:

edit: basically an Attenuated vaccine. But with so much pressure to get society going again that the threshold gets lowered for how much weaker they made the OG virus
