My ex co workers had heart issues because of red bull...:patrice:

I had a homie in college that knew the redbull girl that drove around campus.

After a few months of constantly drinking redbull and needing to go to the doctor for heart palpitations. He wasn't allowed to drink them anymore unless he wanted to end up in the hospital

Honestly, a fundamental change is needed if you're struggling for energy to workout with. Either get more food, more rest, less workout volume, or a combination of the aforementioned.

Its garbage for your system and you dont want to become dependent on it. Will have you on a cycle of crashing and burning when it wears off too. You want to get your body used to switching that gear naturally anyway

Surprisingly, Redbull (with sugar) is the cleanest energy drink out there. Your concerns can be applied to anything with caffeine in context of insufficient energy (including inadequate health).

L-citrulline and a warm cup of green tea = hulk status.

Take those two 30 to 40 mins before workout and u golden. I too used to be like u while on a cut and eating healthy. Felt like shyt and it discouraged me to work out at times.

Now i work out in a fasted state while on 4 to 5 hours of sleep and feel like a beast after taking what i suggested.

Smoke a small amount of weed pre workout its a bronchiodialator (opens ya lungs) and keeps u focused

The amped was a little too charged for a metcon wod. I was def gassed a little earlier than normal from the pump once I started moving. I would keep the regular nutrex pre on hand for wods where you elevate your hr and save the amped for more 1rm type wods.
