I change my starting words, usually rotate between stare, pains, stale, sound, mound, mount, clean. I think it’s more helpful to eliminate or find consonants vs trying to maximize vowels

I always use stale for that exact reason plus the rest are very common letters

Same here I notice sometimes they'll have pop culture/news references as the word.... like ETHER the other day. There was a crazy word one day I couldn't believe they picked. I instantly thought i was FELON to joke on Trump
