Even tho these are just estimated asking prices(none of these games actually came to gamepass), it was also revealed gamepass brings in like 340 mill a month. They could buy all that in the op and have lots of money to spare.

Hence, the now play 7 days early for an extra 30 bucks. All of these sub services are hurting outside of Netflix.

Everything else probably has a story behind it that made those decisions make business sense, but the bolded are crazy, since they basically boiled down to them eventually letting studios go just because they wanted to do something different, at least for a little bit. Especially considering that they realistically could've done exactly what they ended up doing, with starting new studios to carry on those series staffed with people from the old studio that wanted to keep going, while still keeping Bungie in house, and maintaining a closer relationship with Epic.
