I read the study itself. It is backed by a large pool of evidence, and I find their conclusions to be more accurate than false.

The Huffington Post's article just gives you a bunch of counter-opinions. Usually, as I've been accustomed to, there is a plethora of counter research out there, but there is hardly any - if 'any' exists. All the Huffington post is trying to do is minimize "slut shaming" by bringing in counter opinions as they alluded to within the article itself.

Aside from that, both researchers in this particular field are leading experts and are very credible given their work. So, I think I will lean more towards their conclusions given their history. Besides, people have been saying such a thing since time immemorial.

Yeah that other dude say most have 20+ partners is a clown. The average is somewhere around 8-11 for most women in their lifetime, though they could be lying. Even then it'd probably be 15 max.

Agreed - but then if thats the case live the life you want to live instead of letting the pressure of society make you want to marry and have a family. I personally think there are too many variables the first one being how many partners is too many? and how would you ever know the true number?

I think people just need to do what makes them content.
