It's hard to place value in a woman when she doesn't place value in it herself. A woman would say just because she fukked a bunch of men doesn't mean she doesn't value herself. People are trying to find their self worth from the validation of others
There's many factors, but they could be figuring out their self worth, and then the self loathing kicks in or the feeling of euphoria.
