True...but if you were really interested in the guy, yo azz would be responding with the quickness. As far as texts go...they shouldn't be discussions. If that's the case then a call needs to be made. I don't like having an entire discussion through text, but I know one thing....I took my time to respond to broads I wasn't interested in . The ones I was, got consistent responses.

Bruh, it’s nothing for a few hours to go by without me repomding to a text, sometimes I don’t respond to shyt until I get home from whatever I’m doing, be it work, the gym, running errands or just hanging out. So yes, if you text me at 1pm, you may not get a reply until 7pm, and yea, I may respond once and then not respond for hours because I’m not gonna do a back and forth at that time.

Yea, for some, lack of response is because they’re not feeling you, for others they simply don’t feel the need to jump every time a new message comes thru. I’d personally get nothing done with the number of texts I get from my friends, mom , boyfriend, and group chats if I responded to every message immediately. Like someone said, you gotta know the person.

For short convos, yea I'll text back as soon as I can. But some people be tryna text for hours at a time and I can't do it.

As long as that is established in the beginning then sure. Some folk are just not active like that. I'm the same way. But what are you doing that it takes you 7 hours to respond to a man you're courting? You don't check your cell regularly?

I can personally say I’m old school in that just because cell phones exist, it doesn’t mean it has changed my way of being. So yes, I will take however many hours I want to take, just because I have a phone on me doesn’t mean I let it dictate what and do and when I do it. People act like not hearing from someone every moment wasn’t common just less than 20 years ago.
