For being shyt? Everything you wrote about WW84 applies to Suicide Squad.

I know Suicide Squad wasn't supposed to be a super serious film but shyt, it was hot ass residue. I don't judge films on standards they weren't trying to reach, but Suicide Squad was that bad: wasn't very funny, poor story development, mediocre acting, crappy filmmaking, and the story it had didn't even live up to its premise.

I don’t think there has ever really been a good female superhero movie IMO. They are either mediocre or trash. They are just too corny for a guy to fully enjoy.

I think Black Widow could potentially change that though as long as it’s on some winter soldier shyt.

A couple of the better movies with female leads were Salt and A long kiss good night. These aren’t necessarily superhero movies, but it’s the type of shyt to get a guys attention.

Don't forget Kill Bill.

There's something to be said as to why movies like those work and why movies like the ones mentioned ITT don't. They aren't trying to force agendas, not masturbating at the idea of a woman beating up a man, not tasking themselves with the fate of little girls everywhere (who arent that invested in this stuff) and all that other yuppie thinkpiece inspired crap.

Just straight up action with a hint of sex appeal. Black Widow looks like it will take the crown if its on some espionage winter soldier shyt.

Captain marvel was not bad at all

It wasn't bad but had glaring flaws that can be improved on. WW84 is making some people say scrap the whole shyt lol, a bit of a overreaction but WW was one of the few bright spots of the DCEU and they just kinda bushed the timeline for a really wack movie.

Captain Marvel was better than Thor's first two movies easily. Even people who didn't really fukk with Larson said her character felt different in her cameos as opposed to the solo film. With that in mind, the potential for CM 2 is crazy because of the ties to secret invasion. I expect a similar jump in quality from Cap 1 to Winter Soldier for.

If this qualifies (I say it does, it's based on a comic and she's certainly pretty fukking 'super') and it's actually pretty fukking raw.

I'd give it the nod over the first Wonder Woman, which I enjoyed. At least till Natasha comes through blasting.

Brie Larson is the reason CM was boring. She has no charisma and she didn’t own the character. She couldn’t make the character come alive like RDJ, Evan’s, Hemsworth, Scarlett and even Benedict made those characters feel like stars even though they were B-list heroes.

hopefully the new director will bring that out of her and make her worth watching.
