I've had dudes buy my girl drinks and food while I was there. She turned around and asked me what I wanted to order. Dude was so shook by the audacity. Still bought it tho. This has happened more than once.

But if it was my wife, nah. All that is out the window. Whether I'm around or not.

its a fascinating area of gender norms, rituals, monogamy, infidelity, rules, sex, control. Temptation.

Depends on how many lines you want to draw around someone to enforce a set of rules.

Just from a personal view, a lot of husbands don't want to see how their wives are acting when they are out alone at a lounge or club. It's somewhat unspoken that the ritual of "going out" is essentially recreating the single experience.

Was at the Sunset in LA like 2022 summer and had about 7k on me and was feeling on top of the world

some cute girl made small talk with me, waiting to order, was just like "what do you want" and she was like I'm with someone here

and I said it's cool, just wanted to show love, get them one too, I'm here alone and I appreciate the moment. She was like 'you are WAYY too nice" but I got her the two drinks

was thinking to myself I got 7k in my pocket, it's a $25 drink, who gives a fukk?

man...I don''t really care that much about monogamy or about enforcing lots of rules and behavior on someone. I feel like there's more to life for me. I feel like everyone needs a private self and a personal self.

For a lot of women, esp married with kids-- they don't really want to cheat, they just want that thrill of being wanted again, of being seen through new eyes. Like the way I look at someone isn't the way their partner of 4 years months looks at them anymore. so it's an escapism. it's a thrill. it's a sensation. but of course, you are flirting with the fire, by engaging in that.

my advice is this, you can't lose what you don't cling to
