Sad shyt. I have a close friend who when she was 17 hid her pregnancy and had the baby n threw her in the trashcan. She never told anybody. They found the baby still alive but covered with ants. They eventually found out she did it but didn't bring charges against her. After her daughter turned 18 the daughter tracked her down and came looking for her and wanting answers. They have a rocky relationship to this day even though they have formed a relationship with one another.
