I haven't seem Wolf yet but surely it's not worse than The Departed.

The Departed is one of Scorsese's worst movies. A remake with goofy acting that was given the best pic Oscar simply because Scorsese had been shafted before.

People actually think this is movie of the year?? This isn't even coming close to touching "12 Years a Slave" or "American Hustle". This is below "Departed" tbh with you. Even after 3 hrs, once the final credits rolled, you get that, "That's It?" feeling.
why is departed constantly getting mention in this thread? :why: same actor/director big woop the premise of both films are completely different and are aimed at different crowds/genres

Movie was good, not great. I agree that it was about a half hour too long. A lot of scenes were just 10 minutes of straight dialogue, which was good dialogue, but it happened took many times and got stale. Didn't realize it was mostly a true story which was eye opening.
Everyone killed their role, even the chick that played his second wife. I was impressed with how she held her own with Leo in some of those arguments. She wasn't just a pretty face.
Movie was funny and purposefully uncomfortable at moments. I'd give it a 6.5-7/10. That was the real Jordan at the end of the movie who introduced Leo at that seminar.

I was having goodfellas/casino flashbacks the whole movie. Scorese kinda just modernized both stories, and I fukking loved it. A lot of the themes and Story structure were the same. Leo and Hill killed it. The comedy was good, as well as the dialogue. It did drag at some points, but I didn't notice 3 hours went by.
