The dumbest thing Christie said was some nonsense about Hunter Biden and 10 years in prison for lying on a federal firearms verification process

that's red meat for the base, I get it but even Kodak Black's criminal multiple felony ass got three years for that

in no real world does Biden deserve or get 10 years

I read A LOT about the case, from across the board, NY Times, WSJ, Politico, and it seems like even Weiss was hesitant to file those weak ass charges about taxes and the gun form.
It’s all nonsense. These are the same folks pushing for same day handgun purchases without permits or rigorous background checks .

Fetterman does not code as progressive as Barnes. You know this. Including the infamous shotgun vs black man event.

Fetterman survived that incident coming up in the primary because his progressive credentials are so strong. It would have killed someone like Biden who was less trusted in those areas.

Now, if you want to claim that Fetterman won the general because he's not Black, or because he presents himself better than Barnes does, that's a different issue. But in terms of actual beliefs and policies and demeanor and what citizens trust him to do, Fetterman is every bit as progressive as Barnes. He is far closer to Bernie than to Biden.

Fetterman is a white man who dresses middle class. No one knows his progressive stances on issues besides weed and he’s A BIG WHITE MAN. Again this is the intangible shyt you keep ignoring because you think platform is so important. Fetterman looks like a union worker not a BLM grad student.

Which is EXACTLY what I already said. The strikes against Barnes were racism and image, not his stances on issues.

None of us have ever said that candidates need to "keep it real" or project some sort of faux-militant exterior in order to do their job. They just need to care about actual progressive issues, like Fetterman does. I have said REPEATEDLY that progressive candidates should work to highlight issues that sell to a broad base and can stay quieter about more fringe issues, so long as they believe in the important ones. Candidates like Bernie and Fetterman do this well.

Fetterman isn't as progressive as Barnes. Fetterman was taking hits for hedging on medicare and police reform. Thats enough to move away from stuff Barnes didn't do.

Why are conservatives allowed to straight up lie and disrespect democratic run cities-states without any pushback?
Because their goal is to be engaged in order to give their bullsh*t relevance and a platform. It's better to let them peddle their misinformation within their own bubble.

The Dems should counter this, but don't do so effectively, by taking these sound bites and creating quick content to redistribute through tv ads and social media showcasing the hypocrisy and falsehoods. Similar to what Biden's team does with his twitter account but more aggressively. Perfect example would have been Desantis speaking on education, when FL is at the bottom in the nation. Or when someone goes on a rant about trans this or that - put that soundbite next to Rudy dressed as a woman with Trump.

I would never engage them directly, I'd just be petty.
