TYRONE GA!
If we win 30 games I will be pissed cause that's 7th pick territory but that will be mean are getting extrodinary "winning efforts" from guys like Schroeder prince collins so well see. I'm projecting 18
30 wins might get the set in the fukkin Eastern playoffs :to:

This is my problem with him..if we're going to rebuild (tank) then say that. Dont lead the fans on and say we're still going to be competitive when this clearly isnt the plan. Also, I was listening to 92.9 yesterday and a season ticket holder for the Hawks said that when it was time to renew tickets, the team told them that they would do everything possible to make the playoffs in order to get folks to renew their tickets. We now see this isnt the case, and a lot of people are mad about that.

If they are doing that that's some bullshyt. I believe brother @Rickdogg44 is a season ticket holder to confirm this if true

@Llcoolbay you don't like SL breh?

Okay now you see the price of offloading Chance the Crapper. Attach a late 1st and possibly high 2nd rounder.

The Big Summer 3 were awesome man. I need that confidence in the preseason tho. I want to see them vs. the Lakers against Ball, Kuzma, and em this SL. Dorsey might be John Jenkins all over again, smh.

If they hit on Prince, Bembry, and Collins...I can deal with them missing on Dorsey :yeshrug:

Man Collins has it ALL on the offensive end. Back to the basket, face-up, pick n pop, getting to the lane, running the floor, handles, I don't see any weakness in his game. Add in Hawks University and this dude will be SPECIAL.

Offseason has really killed my excitement for anything regarding the 2017-18 nba season for this team:francis:

Breh would you prefer the monotony of 40 some wins with no shot at winning a title?

Yea this team isn't gonna be great next yr, but we need to position ourselves to be one of those teams who is ready to compete once Bron either leaves CLE or leaves the East. Being stuck on the treadmill doesn't help us get there

The Atlanta Hawks are in a transition phase and the entire league knows it. The team isn’t “done” in terms of the offseason, simply because Atlanta doesn’t have enough players to fill out a full roster. Still, it is tempting to look at the current crop with a healthy dose of skepticism and that has been a prevailing theme over the past few days.

Still, Matt Moore of CBS Sports takes things a bit further in his offseason NBA Power Rankings. In fact, he places the Hawks as the worst team in the league.

Imagine if you (or me) really thought Dennis Schröder struggled to make the Hawks better last season but then realized he's their best player. Now consider that Miles Plumlee is their third highest-paid player. Given those factors, a case could be made for any of the six preceding teams as worst in the league, but Atlanta's the bet here. The tank is on the way.

From a roster standpoint, this is not a crazy characterization. There are nice young assets with Schröder, Taurean Prince, DeAndre’ Bembry and John Collins but the veteran group is less appealing.

Kent Bazemore is a starter-level player (albeit an overpaid one) and Mike Muscala returns on a bargain deal to provide solid play in the frontcourt. Beyond that, though, things get weird in a hurry and a quick look around the league reveals that Atlanta’s roster, at least as currently constructed for the 2017-2018 season alone, is one of the worst in the NBA.

This kind of assertion is certain to rile up some Hawks fans and with good reason. The presence of Mike Budenholzer should help Atlanta from dropping into the absolute dregs of the league but the worst-case scenario on the floor isn’t pretty and there is a chance this type of projection ends up being right.

I know most of y'all agree with this, but I still think this roster will be better once it's all said and done
