So how is it that the WWE/Aew/ wrestling promotions are one of the only companies that has successfully marketed their female employees? Not just marketed but you could say make them the face of the company. And It's not just about real vs fake or looks either. Yes Sasha Banks looks amazing. But if you go to TSC, people are actually talking about their in ring ability. People are invested in their storylines. Because back then females weren't getting air and ring time like this. Love it or Hate it, wrestling has done a great job promoting and making females the face of the company

Because they are scripted?

Has nothing to do with it. You still have to connect with the crowd and be over with the crowd. Guys aren't turning the tv when the women's matches come on. They are actually watching the matches. Yes they may comment on their looks and assets for a brief moment but they are still invested in the match and storyline

Aren’t wrestling ratings way down though?

Theres are a lot more tweets if you go to his page but this is what set it off. Of course one black man says something it becomes a collective problem. Like I said before I don't really see where he is wrong.

Ppl dont want solutions
Just want to whine

If you make less revenue, why will the old cacs that run it pay you more?

With some school kids occasionally but I don’t watch it. And I’ve never seen a WNBA match. :russ: I was more likely to watch swimming and figure ice skating before major sports leagues.

You seem like the type that generally will ask for the rock in a pick up game.

I never seen BW be interested in basketball or sports in general at all unless they kids or somebody they know was playing.
Theyll know the main superstars like Lebron,Harden Curry etc but wont even know what positions they play.

Meanwhile white bytches be talking to me about pro and college sports like nikkas at the barbershop.
Groups of them just attend games for the fukk of it.

BW should stop gossiping and trolling on the internet/social media for 2 seconds and go support their WNBA and WNCAAB sisters.

I just asked my white male co-workers. "Do you ever watch the WNBA?"

They literally just did this:

I asked my white female co-workers: "Do you ever watch the WNBA?"

Their reaction:

"I feel nothing" said one coworker.

I asked the black security guard: "Do you ever watch the WNBA?"

LMAO! :russ:Or I’m a chick and women traditionally don’t watch sports as much as men do.
If anything, shouldn’t this resentment be directed towards women?

I like equality so there needs to be a conversation about the lack of support women give to their own industries. You can’t fight for equal rights but then still blame men when your own don’t come through to support industries you are advocating for.
What they want is for men to participate equally in sports the way women support male sports industries. But a sizable segment of women supporting those industries are on the prowl for dikk. (Can I say that? Oh well fukk it. It’s Monday.)

Now I’m not saying every chick into sports is there for the male gaze because there are some legitimate female sports fans, but many ARE. :mjlol: But it’s not gonna be tit for tat because men court women differently. For the most part, they don’t feign an interest in female hobbies to impress women. They posture and preen socially to do so.

What all of that means is female industries can’t necessarily expect the same numbers as male industries from men OR women supporters because there are courtship/mating dynamics bloating the female support for male sports, and males shouldn’t be expected to pick up that slack just cuz...when WOMEN themselves aren’t even doing so....:laff::laff::laff:
Music industry is like this too.

But the thing is in many women sports men support the women more than women support the women in the sports yet men get the heat for it. That is the issue. These industries are scared to call women out and say look yall heffas need to support us.

But in general women don't care about female sports normally cause competition doesn't interest women (unless its competing for a man) and the only reason most women care about male sports is because they are men playing the game. So in female sports there is no male eye candy and a bunch of muscular women that they can't relate to (no matter their sexual orientation) normally.

In male driven sports most women who watch got started because they thought some dude or dudes who played were cute or fine. Then from then on they followed the sport. My wife and my sister in-laws are all big NFL and NBA fans and they will all tell you they started watching as kids cause they thought some player was cute (MJ, Kobe, Penny hardaway, Mike Vick, Emmitt Smith, Deon Sanders, Steve McNair, Ray Lewis and on and on).

Modern male sports is a perfect outlet for women now a days. Because due to modern media and internet they can learn about who the male athlete is dating, see countless photos of them and see how wonderful a life he has outside of the sport due to his money. Its almost like a soup opera.

You don't get that with female sports. Just look how the internet is on fire when females find out a male athlete is cheating or got a new famous girlfriend. shyt women won't know shyt about that dude statistically from a sports perspective but know who he is dating, how much he makes, how many kids he got and where he bought his new house at.
