With the state of WWE now does WWE regret letting Alberto Del Rio go? Where is he now?

OP asks if they regret letting ADR go and then proceeds to wonder whatever happened to him, that alone should tell you the lack of star power ADR has.:russ:

Lets be real. Ricardo Rodriguez was the main attraction for dude. Once they split, it was a wrap because Del Rio can't cut a promo to save his life beyond his corny ass "Destiny" shyt that he been riding with from indie to indie.

What state that WWE is in? Listen i'm not here to offer up much defense of WWE creative, but they can literally afford to tell critical fans like ourselves to go fukk ourselves. They're worth more than ever. And they've sucked up so much good talent that they're pretty much warehousing careers right now. So no, they don't need ADR in the slightest.

Dude is MUCH more trouble than he's worth, and literally the only thing he has over Almas is being fluently bilingual. Yes, Almas is that good in ring. And if that's not enough, Rey is coming back.

When Del Rio slapped an official for being racist he was a hero :banderas:

But you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain :wow:

They fukked up with Del Rio. He came in under a brand split, they pushed him too fast too strong. Rumble winner, MITB winner, World Champion all within a year of debuting. Moved him over to RAW and then shortly after a year of debuting, he became WWE Champion, screwing up Summer of Punk.

They screwed him up before this match could even happen. Sad.

I'm gonna back over 2011 one day and see how far it setback WWE.

Wait, how does that (not fighting when there are payment issues) make him a POS?

This is only the 800th time he's pulled out of a show he was booked and promoted on. Actually doing it with enough time that there can be an announcement made is a life change for him. Normally he just takes the advance and no shows, stays out of contact for a few days, blows it on blow and hookers, then gets some other rube to fall for his scam again. He's been consistently fukking over every promoter that gives him any kind of big gig that it's amazing he hasn't been blackballed from the industry. I'd find it hard to believe he'd be much of a draw anymore, and you can't depend on him to actually show up anyway.

His move is usually to wait until the last minute and demand more money and leave when he doesn't get it, or get an advance or plane ticket, get a refund on it, and then no show.
