With the state of WWE now does WWE regret letting Alberto Del Rio go? Where is he now?

OK so let me give it to you straight: as we know the WWE product's become trash (if you compare it with even 5 years ago.. ok it wasn't that good 5 years ago either but you still had CRAZY PPVs and unexpected moments. Those days are over). I had WWE Network but cancelled it last month mainly because the current new PPVs are disappointing. I do like older content though so I might get it again - anyway.

So I've watched less WWE and I'm not really a huge RAW or Smackdown fan (I'll watch the Top 10s they put up on YouTube though)

So SummerSlam was my first intro to this dude and I have to be honest.. he didn't leave much of an impression. Actually the entire match didn't leave much of an impression. Lana doing this stupid growl that just doesn't work turned me off. So what exactly makes this dude come even close to what Alberto did?

Almas is a better wrestler, has a better manager, and is only 28. There's no reason to waste money again on a 41 year old Del Rio who was a complete flop in his 2nd run with WWE.

It's WWE though. The current Creative team could have a young Stone Cold Steve Austin flop. I wouldn't hold it against him that 2nd run, it wasn't like Batista's 2nd run where he was just NOT into it at all.

Honestly it just looked like Del Rio wanted that WWE check for a year. He's been bland ever since Rodriguez stopped being his manager.

That last part.. this is true for sure.

I do feel like WWE needs a HUGE name to come back. Right now it's ????? status. Or they need major changes in their Creative team.

I was going to do a thread on wrestlers like him. Greatest belt finessers but I didn't feel like it and felt it would've ultimately flopped. Anyway I believe dude has coasted everywhere he has been based on his looks and his lineage. He's all around decent and in a smaller pond, he looks like a superstar but WWE and even Impact don't need him it wouldn't matter if they had Almas or not.

Ok lol, Are we going to ignore that this guy posted some naked dancing video of some dude that looks like Del Rio with another chick then decided it was gay as fukk and deleted it?

I took a screenshot before I hit refresh

You're a genuine creep

I was not comfortable posting any NSFW content without using the Spoiler button. The Spoiler function wasn't working, so I changed the thread. And actually my 2nd thought "the WWE could REALLY use Alberto Del Rio" was a way better one.

Edit: you hypocrite bum. You even changed YOUR OWN TEXT after..
