There's a ton of people who never played the Greek God of War and only played the Norse version. It'll be fine.
Metroid would be interesting though. Hopefully Mario succeeds and Nintendo looks into it.

I agree, but there is a bit of a problem translating Rockstar stuff to TV and Movies because the TV and Movies they borrowed from are top notch.
You can kinda say that menace 2 society is the best version of san andreas, heat is the best version of V, LA confidential is the best version of LA Noire, Eastern Promises GTA 4, Deadwood RDR2, fistful of dollars RDR1
It's like the video game is a translation of the original, so why bother translating it back.

The dope thing about those Valve properties is you can start with either Aperture or Black Mesa and slowly introduce plot elements of either into the series.
Make the woman escape Aperture Labs with the portal gun in season 1....then the last scene of the season 1 finale she makes it into the outside world and it's over run by The Combine.

He does that whole psychological mindbender stuff really well. Probably a better movie than series though. Imagine getting cameos of G-Man in some weird blink and you miss it type shyt, or background eastereggs

AC Valhalla for sure. It would be Last Kingdom and Vikings mixed together.
Horizon ZD/Horizon FW would be GOAT. Both AC and Horizon work better as TV shows spread out over several years though. Too much for one movie.
Getting Eivor right would be tricky because the character can be male or female (female is cannon). Aloy.....you need someone that is athletic, young looking....probably a natural ginger or auburn since dark hair white chicks never look right with red or blonde wigs.
Of course we all know they would make our breh Varl, gay because reasons.
They'd get The Rock to play Hekkaro.
