Depends on what kind of power I had. If I had Superman's powers I would probably be on some Magneto shyt and create a separate African American homeland.

Hmm...I'm selfish to an extent so I'd probably just use powers to my benefit or the benefit of friends/family. Like changing people's thoughts, no way I'm out there stopping terrorists by making them think of hugs and bunnies, I'm getting GOAT job offers, oprah is leaving her fortune to me, homeboy woulda been put a ring on it

yep, and the Spiderman origin story is pretty much a direct answer to the OP's question. Peter also didn't choose to be a 'villain', but he did intend to use his powers solely for his own personal gain. and that shyt backfired...because with great power, comes great responsibility
I'd be biased as hell if I had powers and the rich in this country would be in for some serious problems

If I had powers like superman or wolverine and basically couldn't be killed, I would help out people when I could. Other days I'd be lazy, and I'd get into my fair share of dumb shyt. I'd probably go after corrupt cops all the time
