If you’re not a shooter you can’t play the 4 and Stewart isn’t a 5 you can win with (starting) He’s just too small. Unless he’s paired with a guy at the 4 that erases those shortcomings like a Mobley .

The positions don’t even matter. It’s all about if you switching pick and rolls or you not. Pistons with big guards and stewart is switching on all picks. And stewart can defend the paint. A more seasoned stewart if he keeps getting better shouldnt have a problem against most other teams big men. There only a handful of top level centers in the nba anyway. Get his 20-30 minutes a night earning his keep in that paint and on defense. And if he can occasionally hit a few jumpers then that’s even better.

Stewart is nowhere near a finished product and im not saying he the answer as the pistons big man. :hubie:

i remember once upon a time Andre Drummond spent all summer working on his 3 point shot :unimpressed:

cade lacked confidence/overthought that last shot. he got caught in between moves before he rose for that jumper. he’s gonna be a dog next year
The pull up on Drummond? Cause the last shot I saw was the deep 3 that was cash.

yea the drummond pull up. he beat him twice but he hesitated like he aint expect it and was trying to do something else instead of just pulling up.
Yeah, he pulled up kinda flat footed instead of on his toes on that one. Left it short.

I appreciate that we have a competent front office again. We seriously had a roster lead by and revolved around Andre Drummond :childplease:

Cade was special tonight and we're lucky to watch him. His spot is solidified and the Pistons have established key core players but the talent needs to spike & another top 4 pick will do wonders. As much as Cade will benefit from playing with a Jabari or Chet, Cade would also benefit with another player that has a visible and specific takeover gene (Paolo, Ivey) Jabari and Chet have takeover potential, but it's either not as defined or not without needing facilitation. I want to see Cade with one more dawg. Looking forward to upgrading the veteran talent too. Cory, Mcgruder have served their purpose but get out of here.

Killian has become very intentional in the pnr, looking for an interior shot more frequently and he's hitting those inside shots he used to miss all the time. He makes winning plays on defense. If you see a statline he's definitely mid but he's finding his way if you watch the game.

Disagree on the stat line being mid, more often than not breh flirts with a triple double, it may not be on some 40 15 and 10 video game byshyt but its enough to impact the game, considering role and minutes played as well.
