This is why I don't get hype about perimeter players putting up numbers in the G league. That shyt has not been proven to translate to the league on a consistent basis. There's no rim protection or real interior defense in that league to stop those guys.

Saben needs the ball in his hands to be most effective. In the G league he can cook nikkas off the dribble and put all kinds of pressure on the rim . In the NBA he ain’t good enough for his game to translate. So he looks like a doof out there. He not an NBA player .


This off-season is important and the draft is scary to me .Chet can be a generational player or he can be current porzingis with with better passing .I’m not mad at him being a pistons ..but he spooky .


Jabari Smith ain’t it . He’s Harrison Barnes status . I’m not a believer .

Banchero is nice ,he look like he can be a Julius Randle if everything works out


Ivey is a poor man’s Morant. Tyreke Evans with some bounce .He wouldn’t be the worst pick in the world but I’m not seeing the superstar other ppl see . I might be wrong though .


If some legit player comes available via trade (like that Shai rumor last year ) I’m taking that shyt and running . Put a real player next to Cade . Can’t be gambling on some mid

There are no defensive bigs in the g league. If anybody over 6’8 can block shots or rebound well and isn’t 30 plus they are on somebodies bench. I promise Killian could average 20 in the g league it’s not the same as the NBA.

Jabari not what you'd typically look for in a #1 pick, but I get it if you think his floor ideas hard Lewis type and you think he can build on that. The more I see if Banchero the less of a fan I become. A primarily jump shooting pf that can't shoot and plays poor defense. He should be killing but I don't know why he think he Rip Hamilton and wanna shoot mid range pull ups all day.

Chet, I see both sides of that coin just like you. I'm also looking what I see from Mathurin more and more and can see him as a nice 2 next to Cade if they drop down that far. I still think there's value in keeping the rookies though because that's talent at a much lower rate than a NBA vet of equal skill level, and the Pistons ain't ready to be major contenders anyway.

Durant is a huge stretch as he had real wing ability before he got to college and just improved on his handle. Jabari ballhandling is non existent right now, but he won't have to get a Durant like handle to open up the floor for drives with that shyt at the 4.

Cade handle is fukking nice though. He creates all kinda seperation with it, but he definitely does need to tighten it up cause he's proned to get ripped by smaller guards with quick hands in the open court or gets loose with his handle sometimes. But I've seen him break down plenty of nikkas off the dribble and gotten better with it as the season progressed.
