Sooooo when do we start being petty and going back upping all them Cade hate threads :troll:
:russ: But truthfully I done seen enough posters when Cade has played their team or just happen to catch a game completely change their mind on what they thought he was. Watching him play it's just evident what he is and what could become. I think the only ones still talking bullshyt from the beginning of the season are the ones that have only looked up stats and bring up shyt like his efficiency or TS%, not acknowledging his role on this team is drastically different than any of the other rookies. He's pretty much getting the opposing teams focus on defense on a nightly basis and facing doubles much more frequently than the others. He's getting the respect from players and coaches so I don't care about the fans at this point.

ROY would be nice but I've seen so much growth on the floor from him, from not selling for so many 3's, to being better at protecting the ball, making the right play out of double teams, and even recently staying out of foul trouble. Plus his play in pressure situations has been money. In head to heads with the other rookies he's been the one in the fourth making plays to secure the wins against those guys while they've been treated as role players that aren't trusted with that kind of responsibility yet. And he's come through clutch damn near every time. And that's just the on court stuff. He already carrries himself like the face of the franchise and the leader of the team. So many non Pistons fans completely missed that aspect in that we needed a complete culture overhaul and a player to lead that transition. Only a few like @Gil Scott-Heroin and @bigg-vvvave recognized that from the jump. I don't know if any other rookies in this class was ready to shoulder all of that load on and off the court.

Plus we have a great lockerroom already with the guys Troy has drafted and signed. To think we add Mobley to this team it would have worked is fair. But Green? Nah. Dude is getting better but he showed a lot of immaturity early and during the off season. Cade already comes off like a 8 year vet who’s got all star apperances and playoff caliber confidence and he only 20. Generational talent like this at that age is insane. And he’s doing this without getting superstar foul calls and his jump shot isn’t even falling like it did in Janurary.

Cade stopped settling for 3s and he’s driving and living in the lane and he figuring out teams can’t stop him:obama:
Yep. He's pretty much improved and learned to adjust in different facets each month. 2nd half of February and first half of this month he's been much more mid and paint attacking with the shaking into the lane off the pick. He commanding a ton of attention from the defense. That last assist to Bey was a perfect example.

Refs killed Pistons momentum then Derozen just went off

Cade won’t win ROY but clearly best of his class

Like Bagley athleticism and hustle. If he gets consistent with the 3 ball he could be a problem. But with Stewart out no one to protect rim

Case has done pretty good job with this team. Young guys developing and they play hard as hell every night

Definitely. You can see the guys have learned and developed individually and as a team. The ball movement has improved and they seem to be more understanding of where each other are on the court and the spots they like. I've enjoyed watching them grow.
