the goal should be to gain fans and create excitement about the pistons and Cade who is supposed to be their best draft pick since like the 90s

if the nba is a business they’re doing a terrible job selling tickets and improving their image when the time is perfect

If pistons are already focusing on next season tanking and getting a BETTER pick than Cade in 2022 well i understand but that not a good for fans

You have no idea what the Pistons are doing wrong with Cade. Neither does any of us, using the 76ers with a long track record of medical mismanagement (Embiid, Simmons, Fultz) has no bearing on what the Pistons are or are not doing. I’ve only accused Weaver and Casey of being dodgy to the fans but no one would give a fukk about that if we weren’t 1-5. I want Cade to sit until he can play a full schedule and full minutes.

still makes Killian useless in the same line up
Defensively? They look like pit bulls even in the short sample size

offensively? If Killian can’t make threes or can’t get to the rim maybe so. He got to the foul line and had five steals last game so I got hope. He’s played literally 30 nba games

yea well maybe sitting Cade is their best way to try and develop Killian so maybe they can move him eventually

I been up and down on Killian. Last week I wanted to ship him to G-league

Killian just needs to find an identity offensively. His lack of athleticism was exaggerated in his draft scouting reports. He can get into lane and get off his shot fine. He has strength and body to finish near rim. Killian issues are in his head. Doesn’t have confidence in his shot. Not like his mechanics on his jumpshot are broken or anything. Killian lifted all them weights in the off-season: attack the basket. He’s a good passer and defender already.

At worst he is Frank Nkilia clone with better passing

I talked with someone in the know on the Pistons org who saw him 1st hand in practice. Of course he hadn't played in a month. But his summary was very good. But not Top 5 in the league potential good. He'll average 20 something point. But he's not quick enough to blow past you or real tall and doesn't do anything great. He could just be a player who all around good everything. But not generational. That was his summary.

I just asked him his general thoughts on him working with him in practice. Again he acknowledged he hadn't played in a month as I stated. Just wanted to know 1st impression.
