Klay tore his acl and achilles back to back...he won't be close to the same player he was especially on defense...those days of him effectively guarding the other teams best perimeter player and letting steph hide are over
Luckily the NBA draft exists... Minnesotas pick and the Warriors pick can fill holes..

A lot of dudes are fooled by a couple of athletic plays by him; it's clear as day they're not actually watching the games. He's been poor, overall, which needless to say, is expected given his inexperience, but there's already a lot of red flags with his play, that's going to take years for him to work through.

Warriors would be better off trading him and going for one last run with Steph/Draymond.

Lol
Warriors only hope is that Steph ages gracefully and to hit on some picks.

I mean the Klay injury really just fukked them. I mean they could of done the above while also having another borderline top 10 player that plays both sides of the ball.

Warriors could have traded the pick but still wouldnt be contenders without a healthy Klay, so why not roll with a prospect with great potential?

Because as I've reiterated many a time - whatever potential Wiseman has will not be realized for years, and as you know, I have serious doubts over what he'll become. By the time he reaches that point, it'll be too late. If you're of the belief to just roll with "a prospect with great potential", then they should blow it all up and trade Steph/Draymond.

I personally have a hangover from so many trips to the Finals. Im fully ok with gambling on Wiseman and whatever the two first rounds picks from upcoming draft will translate into. Curry probably wont be an MVP candidate in his mid thirties but im OK with him and Klay being very good role players as we phase into the new generation of Warriors basketball. The only way I will think any of this turned out to be a failure is if Wiseman and/or the prospects that we draft this year turn out to be busts, which you keep implying you think Wiseman is more likely to become a bust than a star. We shall see:manny:

I just don't think Wiseman is what this team needs, right now. And this team isn't what he needs either. This team is trying to compete to win; Wiseman is trying to develop - they're both contrasting lines. He's not going to get the touches to where he needs to develop, because this team can't give him the touches he needs if they want to win.

This team is at a fork in the road and they need to choose which path they're going down: win now or rebuild with Wiseman.

There's a reason why nobody's talking about all his poor shots and defense, and fawning over a couple of athletic plays.

He’s playing on raw talent and his defense is fine so far with a few rotational mistakes but that’s to be expected.. :mjtf:

Fair enough, I choose the rebuild option. The way things are looking, that may be our only option by default.

Did they win? No highlights from the first 3 weeks of the season? :mjlol:
Did they win?

Are you really trying to prove a point of Deni needing to lead a Wizards squad (without Westbrook and Beal) against the Heat - the same team that made it all the way to the Finals last season? You're expecting a rookie on a lottery team, without its two best players, to beat a Finals squad? Have you at any point in your miserable existence ever been able to formulate a logical thought?

Wiseman's ass is typically sitting on the bench when the Warriors are making their runs. Or are you going to tell me Wiseman is leading the Warriors to wins?
